Zephyr Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 I'd like to start expanding a bit and I could use some percussion samples, I have a good amount of acoustic kits and such, but would like some more varied breakbeat/techno/lofi etc. I'm willing to dish out some cash, but I don't have anything like Kontakt, so it'll need to either have it's own VST or just be a set of WAV's. Thanks for any help Quote
LuketheXjesse Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 KORE comes with a lot of stuff, and it's free. I recommend it. Quote
OverCoat Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 Mick Rippon started a site a while back for Renoise resources. There are still some good drumloops for you to use though, in .wav format: http://www.loopproject.com/ You want electronic drum samples? Here's the fuckin' motherload. Someone took the time to sample all the popular drum machines and then some, then put it up for download: http://samples.kb6.de/downloads_en.php I use these all the time, you will not be disappointed. Zephyr Posted April 1, 2009 Author Posted April 1, 2009 In my searches i found this site, a bunch of percussion type blip collections, definitely interesting, fun to play with. http://blips.hit.bg/ Quote

Dude! There's way too many choices there. I don't know where to begin. Any preferences in this bunch? Quote
OverCoat Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 Do what I do and get the DownThemAll addon for Firefox. You're gonna download them all anyway I can't really give you my preferences as you may like something entirely different than me. Get all of them [and keep them, be smart!] and preview the sounds. Dj Mokram Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 You're gonna download them all anyway Yeah there's so much goodness over there. Better get'em before the site goes temporarly out of buisness: I can't afford the money for the server on my own, its only a hobby. Poor guy got a 300% traffic growth, thanks to Overcoat's firefox addon raping the bandwith! Quote
