Mega Man 3 Title WIP

Does this sound like the beginning of the Mega Man 3 Title song?

In my opinion? No.

I listened to it a second time and heard some signs that the source was Megaman III but even then it's a stretch.

Yeah, it's MM3, alright, but the octave leaps make it hard for us to connect the tune as the intro, on first listen.

Just a thought - if you make the octave leaps occur when the melody leaps significantly in the opposite direction (the melody leaps down, the octave switch goes up) it would be easier on the listener.

Not much else to go on (obviously), but I'd like to hear the rest of it when you get it - it's easily the best song in the franchise, so we can't get enough remixes of it.

Thanks for the responses. After listening to something for so long it's hard to tell these things.

I'm gonna mess with it some more and I'll keep this in mind. If I can't come up with anything the rest of the song should be close enough to the source to be recognizable

I like the sound of it just as a song itself, but I can't tell that it's MM3 at all.

I can only tell with the very end of that piece. Sounds pretty crazy though, can't wait to hear the rest.
