Johnny C. Bad Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 Does anyone know if one could possibly get the sheet music for it? Quote
Meteo Xavier Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 http://www.nobuouematsu.com/sheet.html I didn't actually look to see if its on there, but its a start at the very least. Quote
The Damned Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 Found it: http://www.nobuouematsu.com/sheet/combo/ff6_locke.zip For piano and flute. Quote
Meteo Xavier Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 He was looking specifically for brass quintet. I don't think that was on that page. Quote
The Damned Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 Surely, you can use it as a base, and then convert it.(please, please PLEASE, someone follow through on the joke) Quote
Meteo Xavier Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 Well yeah, but I don't think specific arrangements for brass are that simple - could be wrong though, but I was sure it takes more knowledge and effort than that... Quote
Geoffrey Taucer Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 You mean this arrangement specifically? I'd contact Vampire Hunter Dan and ask him. Quote
Meteo Xavier Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 Oh, I didn't know it was a remix. I thought it was just general inquiry. Quote
prophetik music Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 lol, meteo AND damned. you didn't even bother to google the phrase, first, did you? VHD's usually pretty cool about releasing his arrangements, but it might be a good idea to try and figure it out by ear yourself. it's always a learning experience when you notate something you love by hand. The Damned Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 It didn't look like a title to me, seeing how it's not capitalized like a title usually is. Not to mention that he didn't specifically mention it as a specific song. Quote
prophetik music Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 actually, it is - in classical music, the 'for x chamber ensemble' is rarely capitalized because the title isn't the whole thing, it's just the first part. so, Locke's Theme for brass quintet is totally appropriate. Quote

Brad Burr, king of proper capitalizing. Quote
Geoffrey Taucer Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 Brad Burr, classical snob. Fix'd tenkarakaturs Quote
Vampire Hunter Dan Posted November 24, 2009 Posted November 24, 2009 Oh, sorry..I messed it up XD Quote
Johnny C. Bad Posted December 1, 2009 Author Posted December 1, 2009 Ok I know this is an old thread but I wanted to come back to this. Thanks for all the replies. Believe me I have already searched around the internet for some sheet music that I could use as a base to transcribe it myself but its proving to be more frustrating than I thought it would, I'm not totally adept at writing music. So...VHD, I see you posted here in my thread, do you think you would care to share the sheets with me? or at least a midi file??? me and a few of my friends are wanting to play it during our schools spring concert.
