It's been a while, but the People Remix Competition was a competition last round. Still, the difference was clear. Just64helpin claimed the victory by unanimous decision. In the wooden spoon shop from Bundeslang also has a new piece; PRC163. This time, I received the source already on Wednesday, so I've had enough time to prepare it. PRC Classic of the two weeks This time the classic is round 54. The source was Megaman Zero 3 Trail On Powdery Snow. Eight remixers entered. Darth Gourry got the last place wooden spoon. LAOS, Chokster37, Ubernym and Jeremy Robson entered as well, but all didn't end in the top 3. Rexy entered, but didn't win. Prophecy entered as well and claimed second place. The round had one winner. Ichitootah received the most points and won with a song called Intangible as the Snow. This rounds source This round, Just64helpin has selected the source. The next PRC tune ...is the Shop theme from Mega Man 9. It's funny how some of my favorite video game tunes are from games I never played. This OST has gotten quite a bit of attention already, so I'm sure people would be interested in remixing this track. If you want to add a Bonus Track, just post it in this thread. The mixing stage is over. There are 4 entries. To vote, you should do the following: - Visit the stated ThaSauce Page and listen to all the entries - Scroll to the form at the bottom of the screen - Fill in the rank of the entries from first to third. - State a reasoning for it. Participants are encouraged to vote; they receive an added first place if they vote (so it's smart to do that). The winner from the last round, Just64helpin, has a vote that counts twice. Because PRC is older than this game, and nobody selected a song from this game as source, it's the first PRC with a Mega Man 9 source. Ocremix doesn't have Remixes of it as well. That's not all; in the Grand Robot Master Remix Battle Zircon is doing Tornado man. He's in the semi-finals at the moment (vote now). Fine Print: PRC instructions If you happen to be mixing this song already, start over in the interests of fairness. Limitations at ThaSauce require your entry to be 6MB or less in size. Length for length's sake and MIDI rips are not allowed. You may enter as many mixes as you like and work with as many people as you like on each mix. You are free to create a second ThaSauce account for that, it's needed to be able to upload a second remix. Total number of mixes - 4 Total number of votes - 5 Maximum Score - 15 Minimum Score - 0 (without voting) OCRE received 3 points, only enough to take the last place wooden spoon. Alex Smith claimed the third place with 9 points. Brain-twister received 11 points, what's not enough for victory, but is enough to take the second place. And the winner of the gold medal from PRC164 is Hexen with 13 points! Congratulations Hexen, you surprised everyone with starting and a direct victory. This means you may select the source for PRC164. Send your source to me (with a MID/MP3 file if you can) by PM, PM @ ThaSauce or by e-mailing to bambombim@gmail.com before next Friday, February 26th at 11:59 am Eastern US Time. I also posted the details @ ThaSauce since I don't know all entrants have an OCR-account.
