XiaoXiaoNeo
Hey, just thought I'd mention that Sweetwater has some pretty nice cuts on their EastWest libraries. Anyone looking to take the plunge and buy their first set of orchestral samples- "East West Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra Silver Complete" is only $97.50 compared to the usual $195. Kidd Cabbage
Nice. Everything is 50% off. If I didn't already have so much of this stuff, I would definitely get the composer's complete bundle for $750.
Level 99
Very, VERY tempted to get the silver for under $100. Just a question: does anyone have EastWest Quantum Leap Voices of Passion? If so, is it worth it for $200? I have a soft spot for ethnic vocals...
zircon
VoP doesn't have many competitors. However, if you really want ethnic vocals, I highly recommend you also check out Tonehammer's "Forgotten Voices" series. They have several ethnic soloists for KONTAKT if you have that sampler. So, check out demos of them too (each one is <$100).
Kidd Cabbage
The problem with Forgotten Voices, though, is that the melodies are sampled, so you can't build your own with it.
jabond23
I might actually get the complete composer's edition. Amazing price for all 7 of them. Anyone have a suggestion for DAW is best for using these samples? I use mixcraft 5 right now, and it works for recording my rock/metal songs, but sometimes it doesn't like these samples, lol. Haha, yeah, I decided I was going to order this a while back, but I decided to wait a little while. Good decision- saved me 100 bucks. Should be arriving this coming week. I'm pumped! The DAW don't matter none, just so long as it can run VSTi.
