KyleJCrb
Eh. I'd rather stick with City of Heroes.
relyanCe
There is already a hero called Canned Heat? no i meant people are making up superhero names but hey on second thought all the retarded names will probably just be handmedowns from city of heroes users
Brushfire
no i meant people are making up superhero namesbut hey on second thought all the retarded names will probably just be handmedowns from city of heroes users My favorite lackluster name I have seen so far is Speedster. As far as CoH is concerned, DCUO is a much faster paced version of it with name brand heroes and villains. I'd recommend it Kyle. If you preorder it before the 30th and send them a receipt, you can get a Beta invite. Also they are saying it is not Pay to Play, so it is a better deal than CoH too. Coyote-Trickster
Eh. I'd rather stick with City of Heroes. Ironically that's what Ive been doing since going Rogue came out
Brushfire
I got to do some team action to take down Bizarro, and it was still a long fight. Not like WoW long, but longest boss by far.

The Author
PvE. I am not a big fan of PvP. Meaning: I get killed a lot.
Brushfire
Not necessarily. I prefer to PvP in groups, and up until Edge mentioned that he was in the Beta, I had no reason to play it. And yes, 1-on-1 I suck at PvP.
EdgeCrusher
Ill have to make a character on PvE then. That and I made a villian anyway, guess I need to make a Hero anyway.
Brushfire
I have reached Level Cap and have started this whole raiding thing. The game seems to hate me, as I never get loot drops, or when I do, the item in question comes to me, then leaps out of me like I have AIDS. On the upside, Superman said I was now an official member of the Justice League and Batman gave me a Thumbs Up. So be looking for issue 1 of Canned Heat, coming soon from DC Comics. EdgeCrusher
I finally got around to making a new character on PC server 1 for PvE. You on that server Brush? Cause I know a lot of people on the DCUO forums say that now server 3 is up, but people who had keys before recently won't be able to access it. Brushfire
So Preorder Beta Keys go out went out today. Did anyone start playing?
EdgeCrusher
A combination of the on and off conflicting "its free, its pay, its free, its pay", the lack of info as far as release date up till a couple weeks ago, and basic lack of interest due to hating just about everyone I met playing the beta, I am cancelling my preorder. No reason to stress my budget right now to pay 100 bucks before next week on the CE. Maybe if the game adds some content, and I see that the community is better later on down the road I might try it again.

I do agree that the 100 cover charge for the CE is kinda lame. Don't give up on us Andy, we will play with you!!

KyleJCrb
Yeah, I might've been willing to give it a shot if it weren't pay-to-play, but not now. I'll wait until it inevitably goes free-to-play like Champions Online.

EdgeCrusher
This thread was about as short lived as my play time on FFXIV. Anyway, I traded in all my crappy games to gamestop the other day during their 50% more trade in credit, plus 10% for my card. Anyway, I paid off a shitload of my preorders, and got the CE for DC Universe too. So yeah.
