Bahamut
Anyone listen to this new Helloween album yet? This is quite different than all their previous songs. IMO, this is probably the best album they've put out ever, and that's no small claim.

Raise the Noise I'm Free Where the Sinners Go Long Live the King (Whips out old DOOM collection with ZDOOM to run it) I also cried manly tears... Awesome... Bahamut
Ok ok... Far in the Future: If a Mountain Could Talk: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VrOZ7GjVbMw Who is Mr. Madman?: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=msh6OyOPyzI I was just blown away after getting my album copy in the mail (it came out today in the US). Along with the new Gamma Ray, Kamelot, and Blind Guardian albums, this has been a great year for power metal.
Chernabogue
Yeah, I bought the European Limited edition, with I'm Free as bonus track. And I must admit it is their best album IMO. Andi Deris' vocals are never been so great, the compositions are awesome (Are You Metal?, Who is Mr. Madman?, You Stupid Mankind? etc...), solos are shorter but in a different and very good style and Dani Löble is a pure drumming machine. And I'm wearing the Unarmed T-Shirt right now, so hell yes! \m/
Schwaltzvald
...Kamelot, and Blind Guardian albums... ...this has been a great year for power metal... I need to buy those albums as they are worth supporting...

Schwaltzvald
No love for Gamma Ray? I actually haven't had the chance to listen to them just yet. Edit: I just realized I don't recognized the guitar that Reimu's holding. :U
DragnBreth
Wasn't diggin' it at first, but continuing to listen to it I'm warming up to it a bit more. Also, heard some of BG's new album and Kamelot. BG I think did a better job on the new one than they did with Twist in the Myth (although I do enjoy it). Kamelot... They're good, but I prefer their Epica era stuff. But thats just me. Don't forget and .No love for Gamma Ray? Sorry. Haven't really gotten into them.
