DrumUltimA
You know, I don't really feel like a percussionist... sometimes, I ask myself what the hell I'm doing practicing all these hours every day. But I guess it sort of fits my personality. You gotta play weird stuff, you have to play lots of different instruments... short attention span? Definitely. That makes sense, the vibraphone is a confused instrument, it doesn't know whether it's a piano or a wind chime
mickomoo
I'm a (former) vocalist. What stereotype do we follow? Don't hold back. I was actually going to ask about vox and vocalists... I dunno. I'm assuming outgoing and confidence is most important... I seriously can't stand to hear the sound of my own voice talking, let alone singing. Cyril the Wolf
absolutely. all 8 or 9 of them This. Like, I consider myself a bassist nowadays, but before I was a throughandthrough alto saxphonist. Now, I play several different stringed instruments, keyboard and wind instruments. And i pretend to sing. WHAT FUN!
Zergonaleash
As a bass player / vocalist for a band, I think I'm pretty outspoken especially in terms of stage presence. My guitar player doesn't like to talk too much on stage unless he's pretty drunk. In real life though, I'm pretty easy going and mellow, but I can be really talkative given the circumstance, and I like to make people laugh, I don't need to be the center of attention, but I won't just sit in the corner and let everyone forget I'm around. Our drummer, I think is kinda stereotypical, he's always going on about having a massive dong and being a badass. I love the guy, but he seems to fit the stereotypical drummer mold pretty well
