zircon Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 How to make awesome, big drums with inexpensive samples (I'm using the most excellent Goldbaby sample sets here) and cheap/free plugins in FL Studio 10. Simple as that! Don't spend hundreds of dollars on the overcompressed Vengeance stuff. Quote

Koriantor Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 Apparently I already knew a lot about technique? I'm just not very good at it yet. Thanks for the video Zircon. I definitely picked up a thing or two. Quote
Cash Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 No wonder my drums suck. I don't really know anything about layering, this tutorial is a big help. Thanks zircon! I'm looking forward to any future videos! Quote
crypto_magnum Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 Many thanks for putting these tutorials together, Zircon! There's a wealth of information to be learned from each. Quote
hyrulekitty Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 Very helpful indeed! I've been playing Wii Rockband and am trying to get into drumming a little bit I'm still on Easy mode but im thinking about buying one of those electronic drum sets where I can use headphones so I don't wake up my parents! Thanks for the tutorials. Quote
DarkSim Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 Great guide zircon - I'd been layering samples before, but never really thought of actually TUNING them. Makes a big difference! Quote
