Krakozhia
Do you know that feeling when there are thousands of songs in your head but you just don't have any way to make them real? They're killing me right now.
liquid wind
I never have anything in my head except when I'm in a near sleep state and then it's abrasive/random nonsense that no one would want to listen to much ._.
Nonamer
Same. What I've been meaning to do is get some sort of recording device and just record some good melodies, so that when I can actually do something I'll have something ready. Garrett Williamson
I don't think I ever have that problem. I have a song in my head to write and I do it. Whether it takes me 52 hours or 20 minutes, it's normally gets out sooner or later. I mean, if it doesn't work out, then I just scrap it and try something else. GallenWolf
Get a portable recorder, or something to record (phone?) - humm it, save it, make it real!
Yami
I have this very often, but when I next think about it it's gone. And if it's not, I can't get it to sound right
zircon
Haha, enjoy it. It's easy to learn technical skills. You can't "learn" inspiration or melodies in your head.
SonicThHedgog
Soundcloud app for the iPhone,iPad, and Android has a voice recording feature that helped me create/learn so many new licks and melodies, riffs. I mean this song would not exsist with out me humming and recording it, and it http://soundcloud.com/aires/air3s-80s-solo-things
