This is our second submission covering the theme, and like the first, there's not much here besides a cover. On the production side, this sounded a bit flooded and messy, with the sound bleeding together too much. This felt slightly slower and more beefed up than the original, but had no creative ideas to provide interpretation of personalization. You've gotta introduce unique arrangement ideas into the picture. 5:18, and I'm not hearing much that differentiates it from the original. NO

I realize you're going for that full, spacey sound, but this is not working. Decays are too long. Arrangement gets old fast; please spice that up with some changeups in the accompniment. It's so repetitive. NO
JJT Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 things that are making this arrangement boring: lack of variation in the accompaniment (darke is right). you're using the same textures through the entirety of the mix. it gets tiresome. lack of harmonic variation. 85% of this arrangement is the same 4 chords over and over and over and over. NO
