DarkDjinn Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 I'm new to the world of remixing and I'm looking for some things to work on. I've been a longtime fan of the site, and a long(er)time fan of video games, especially RPGs. Naturally, a lot of my favorite music from those RPGs has already been remixed, and I'd like to try something new, something I'm not as familiar with. Therefore, I welcome anyone to directly request a remix from me, so that I can a) get some practice doing remixes and b)give myself a good direction to go I don't have much online at the moment but here's a couple of places to hear what I've worked on so far. http://www.youtube.com/neverendinghill - This is my Youtube channel, and I have a couple of (very old) rock songs of mine posted here, as well as a simple guitar cover of Frog's Theme from Chrono Trigger http://www.facebook.com/bradcharlesmusic - And on my Facebook (rather through Reverbnation) I have an original "Random Battle" song that I recently recorded - I would also welcome any feedback/criticism on that tune so that I can improve it and re-record it later. Thanks in advance!
Eino Keskitalo Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 Consider from UFO: Enemy Unknown (aka XCOM: Ufo Defence) - take part both in People's Remixing Competition #251 and in the PC ReMix initiative with single stone! (:--Eino
XPRTNovice Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 This forum subsection is just for that - you can browse what people have requested and fulfill as many as you'd like. There are hundreds of requests out there for you already.
EC2151 Posted August 9, 2013 Posted August 9, 2013 The arcade is the single largest, most-underrepresented 'platform' on OCremix. I need to finish my Saturn and old PC mixes so I can jump into remixing the glorious VGM of yesteryear. But as XPRT said, the request forum is filled to the brim with unique requests. It won't take long to find something you like!
