Necrox
I am looking for some good drum kit libraries (leaning towards rock/metal stuff) and the Steven Slate libraries sound good, but are there any better libraries for $200 or less? timaeus222
It at least catches my ears. Great deal, and would be well worth it. Edited December 30, 2013 by timaeus222

Do you know of anything else?
Argle
Steven Slate is my go to for rock and metal. Wait for a sale though.
Frederic Petitpas
Deal on the Master Metal bundle for Addictive Drums right now http://www.xlnaudio.com/en/products/view/22 (170$ instead of 280$). That's what I use now. Can be heard on this tune:
Meteo Xavier
Sounds cool, but Kontakt is way out of my budget. Do you know of anything else? Short of owning a program that is designed to handle acoustic drums properly? No. You'd be hard pressed to find something better than Steve Slate that's less expensive. Garpocalypse
While Steven Slate Drums is my go to as well you may want to check this video out on how to turn something cheap into something usable.
