Ridiculously Garrett
This is a source I've been working on for probably the longest out of any of them. It's gone through hip hop, orchestral jazz, and now Gypsy jazz iterations. I'm gonna stick with the Gypsy jazz arrangement and take it to the end. Friction
Awesome work. Really like it. Very nice job on the 8th bar (0:11-0:14) as well. Ridiculously Garrett
Ridiculously Garrett
Thank you, glad you enjoy! Update: Added a little more content to it, will fix the solo section and make the lines fit better together. I'm not use to playing at 195 bpm that often Listening to it with fresh ears, it sounds like the tempo could be bumped up a tad too.
Ridiculously Garrett
Updated: Added drums and new bass now that I have better samples. Its sounding fuller. I still need to fix that bassline, and make the rhythm guitar track a little more interesting, and overall make the track less quantized. thebitterroost
This sounds great! Very balanced mix that doesn't skimp on the low end. Drum programming and samples are spot-on (though watch the open hi-hats during those fills, that was one of the only cues that it was indeed a sampler). Keep it up, looking forward to seeing it on the front page
markshell
Wow this is awesome! The style suits the song perfectly. It sounds very organic, like listening to a street band while drinking something cold and sweet! I think it ends rather abruptly though. Maybe you could revisit the starting theme after the uptempo part? Production-wise it sounds very good to me, everything is crystal clear. Good job, sir! I'm going to look for some other stuff you made!
