100_PERCENT ROEMER Posted February 3 Posted February 3 The one-and-only "Potato Pedal" It's a potato juiced from 0 and 45 volts with 1/4" inputs Any type of potato works - size is inversely proportional to signal strength You can briefly warm the potato in a microwave beforehand to add warmth to the tone Potato in use: Quote
Geoffrey Taucer Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Anybody else using Shimmer Shake Strike from In Session Audio? Of all my sample libraries, that is the one that I use in every single project I do for the last few years. Quote
H36T Posted February 26 Posted February 26 First time hearing about it but after watching a video man...it's pretty awesome sounding. I don't really have a need for it so I'll be passing for now but I could definitely see myself really utilizing it if it was cheaper Quote
Argle Posted October 22 Posted October 22 (edited) This is not an exhaustive list, just what I tend to use a lot of. DAW: Reaper (I'm a Reaper lifer, for whatever flaws it has the sheer customization ability makes it my forever DAW) Instruments Spectrasonics: Omnisphere, Trillian, Keyscape (I use these a ton, every project, 100% guaranteed) Native Instruments: Kontakt (I have more Kontakt libraries than I can count, for better or worse it's the industry standard) Best Service: Engine2 (worse than Kontakt but the Eduardo Tarilonte libraries are amazing) For drums, a combination of Stylus RMX, Battery 4 and Geist 2, Slate for rock/metal. Other than Omnisphere, some of my frequently-used synths: Sylenth1, z3ta+ 2, VB3 for organs Sample devs I really like: Heavyocity, Impact Soundworks, Eduardo Tarilonte, Orange Tree Samples, Soniccouture Effects MeldaProduction: MFreeFXBundle (fantastic value for money, I mostly use the EQ and compressor), MUltraMaximizer, MAutoDynamicEQ, MTurboReverbLE VallhallaDSP: Room, VintageVerb, Shimmer Cableguys: Snapback (amazing drum layering time-saver), ShaperBox3 Rob Papen: RP-Distort2 (crazy good distortion) Camel Audio: Camel Phat, CamelSpace (RIP) Native Instruments: Guitar Rig 5 Audio Damage: Vapor, Fluid, Liquid Monitoring: Slate VSX (this is very pricey but it's been hugely helpful with having only a terrible room to mix in, it's pretty much cut out the 5-10 car check revisions that were the norm for me) Have I forgotten a bunch of things here? Yes, yes I have. Edited October 22 by Argle Quote
