Bren Posted January 22, 2007 Posted January 22, 2007 I'm looking for a soundfont (or multiple soundfont) of male and female vocals with "oh" and "ah" sounds. Would anyone happen to know of any decent free, or less expensive ones? Quote
Robotaki Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 lmao, and that's the softest way to put it. Quote
Xelebes Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 they are all terrible Or, alternatively, find the real terrible ones and use them. Quote
realpolitik Posted February 5, 2007 Posted February 5, 2007 Nando Florestan's choir is decent with a shitload of reverb on it. It gets me by, anyway. Quote
Hsia Nu Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 indeed usually all soundfont choirs are crap. if you have VST capabilities check out Magnus Choir http://magnus.syntheway.net/. Best low budget solution i've found for getting a choir sound. Quote
MaliceX Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 Magnus Choir, buh. It's only typical choir 'auhh's. No 'Ooohs' or 'Ehhhs'. Just record yourself various times, edit them, merge them, add reverb, and you got yourself a choir. (Worked for me) Course people don't like to take their time. Poo on you if this is for 'music/sound design you getting paid for over time' Quote
Xelebes Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 There is also vowel filters you could try and use. Quote
