vista drm, driver singing, whathaveyou

a friend just installed vista, and is pissed off that he cant use about half of his programs because of this crap that vista has in place

we discovered that there is a workaround for it, but apparently the guy that made it already took it down

anyone know where to find it?

Also, it'd help a lot if you were a bit clearer. What programs don't work, and what error messages do you get?

...yeah, we're definitely going to need some specifics here. Have you tried compatibility mode? Latest video drivers (if you're having trouble with OpenGL games)?

I doubt DRM has anything to do with the problems you're having.

Hey, when I'm driving, I'm usually singing...

I don't think I would really approve if my drivers started singing, especially because then it'd be a pain to figure out how to get them to shut up. For instance, my room-mate last year... his hard drive sounded like it was singing, half the time. It was really annoying.
