Synth Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 So, anyone know of a good site for guitar backing tracks? I'm not talking about like backing tracks for songs like say a metallica, but something that I can solo over. Or, Snappleman, Sixto or who ever else plays guitar here, would you guys happen to have some you made? p.s. if possible, i'd like to know what key there in, and what scales would work over them. Fishy Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 I have some satriani backing track. They just end up in groove cycles, so you can solo over them however you like really. Quote
suzumebachi Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 If you're trying to practice anyway, why don't you make your own backing tracks? I just wet myself and kicked myself in the balls for not doing this sooner. God damn, I should have been doing this ages ago. I'd probably be thrice the guitarman I am today. Quote
Synth Posted March 27, 2007 Author Posted March 27, 2007 That was my oringinal idea. But I dont have a good way to record for a rythem track yet. And my squencing skills need some work Quote
Degree Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 You could try http://www.guitarbt.com/. They have a lot of backing tracks from bands.. but they also have Jam tracks as well. I think you have to sign up to download though. Trust me, it's worth it. Quote
Chavous Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 Name a progression and style, and I'll make it for you. ^ Or sign up to where that person said. Quote
