DrumUltimA Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 hey guys i guess this can't really go on ocr between the style and the sound quality and the fact that it's a video but I'd still like to share it with ya'll!!! Enjoy Quote
Dhsu Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 Awesome. Polish it up, get a studio recording, and submit this sucker. I don't see any reason it wouldn't pass...there are piano arrangements on OCR that aren't nearly as interpretive and complex as this (i.e. mine, lol). Quote
Red Shadow Posted May 29, 2007 Posted May 29, 2007 is it requisite form that all vibraphone players be wildly expressive as they perform? Quote
DrumUltimA Posted May 30, 2007 Author Posted May 30, 2007 no, it's actually something i'm working on fixing lol Quote

DrumUltimA Posted May 30, 2007 Author Posted May 30, 2007 I bet you're in the pit in marching bandthey kind of encourage the dancing thing hahah actually i didn't know what real marching band was until last year and btw thanks Quote
Radiowar Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 what i'm saying is this is probably my favourite of all the mallet pieces you've posted here Quote
The Derrit Posted June 12, 2007 Posted June 12, 2007 drumultima at some point you're going to have to post up some marimbas/mallets/whatever here. between this and the chrono trigger one you deserve recognition for these. Quote
jmr Posted June 12, 2007 Posted June 12, 2007 I know you've probably been told this a dozen times already, but you HAVE to do a proper recording of this and submit it. It's as creative as a lot of the piano solos here (if not more creative), and definitely as enjoyable. I like the other performances you've posted on youtube as well; keep them coming! Quote
DrumUltimA Posted June 12, 2007 Author Posted June 12, 2007 thanks! I'll try to get a good recording and put it up at some point Quote
