Trapical Posted July 22, 2007 Posted July 22, 2007 EDIT: I found it, it was Summer Overtime. Thanks guys It's usually played as satire in those stereotypical apocalypse scenes. It's played in the first 20 seconds of this YouTube video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0NrP2_QC6U0 Note: I really don't recommend anyone to actaully watch the entire video. It gets really lame, really fast. Quote
Dafydd Posted July 22, 2007 Posted July 22, 2007 Can't help you there, but I wanted to say that this one is so much better. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UvljN9ycqLg Quote
ncjason77 Posted July 22, 2007 Posted July 22, 2007 It's Gethsemane by Nightwish. I guess it's also called Gothci Sanctuary. Quote
Dark_T_Zeratul Posted July 22, 2007 Posted July 22, 2007 It's Gethsemane by Nightwish. I guess it's also called Gothci Sanctuary.Uh, no, it most definitely isn't. It's "Summer Overture," from the movie Requiem for a Dream. More specifically, it's a slightly bigger and more dramatic version that was initially reworked for the trailer for Lord of the Rings: the Two Towers and has since been used in many other things since. The original composer was Clint Mansell. It was performed by the Kronos Quartet for the movie, though I can't say whether or not that's true for this version as well. Quote

Barnsalot Posted July 22, 2007 Posted July 22, 2007 It's listed in my files as "Requiem for a Tower" by Clint Mansell. I got it off the YTMND Soundtrack torrent, which I think would be fairly reliable. Quote
Trapical Posted July 22, 2007 Author Posted July 22, 2007 Yea I was pretty confused for a second. And thanks Zeratul, it was Summer Overtime. Quote
ncjason77 Posted July 22, 2007 Posted July 22, 2007 hm... My bad. I just looked up another video I heard it on and read through the replies to see if any of them knew. Apparantly the one who posted it was just flat wrong, lol. oh shit... i just read it wrong... my mistake... Quote

And thanks Zeratul, it was Summer Overtime. Overture, not Overtime. Quote
