derako Posted October 8, 2007 Author Posted October 8, 2007 excellent work sir, any chance of a pre-judge-approval release elsewhere? http://jeremyrobson.com/download.html or http://www.soundclick.com/orenproductions
Javaxcx Posted October 8, 2007 Posted October 8, 2007 haha, I knew you'd be putting it up there I'm listening to it now for the first time as I type this. Excellent work, very very excellent work Derek and Jeremy
StandingInMotion Posted October 8, 2007 Posted October 8, 2007 Aaawwwwsoooomeeeeee.... I'm in class right now, but I've synced it to my MP3 player, so that will give me some enjoyment on my way home. Absolutely loved the first piece. If they ever made a movie for FF6 (which they should) they should just contact you guys for a "Dancing Mad" arrangement.
Antelucan Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 This is utterly phenomenal... the most gorgeous remix I've heard since, well, the first movement.
derako Posted October 15, 2007 Author Posted October 15, 2007 Thanks for the comments so far. Because we had to submit this piece at 128kbs there was a lot of degration in the quality of the voices. Unfortunatly thats what you get with this sample library. So hopefully soon I'll have an alternate download that is either 224 or 320kbs which would have little to no degration. Also I was unhappy with certain parts of the mix that I didn't hear until after we had submitted it. So after it's judged, whether it's accepted or not, I'll remix it and fix those errors. Most of you probably won't even notice them but after you put 4 months of your life into a project like this you want absolute perfection. Again thanks for the support. -Derek-
Thin Crust Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 You know you can probably email them and pull it from the judges queue and resubmit it when you work out the bugs. But I'm not sure. No harm in trying right?

No harm in trying right? Exactly yes I've already worked out arrangements with Liontamer so it's not a big deal. I've already had him upload a more polished verison anyways so it's gonna be awesome. Have you listened yet?
Liontamer Posted November 12, 2007 Posted November 12, 2007 Props to Jeremy & Derek for this second collab in the FF6 Cantata series. Check out the mix here, drop your reviews for the piece here.
