TcDohl Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 Hey OC Remix, would anyone here by interested in contributing to working on a visual novel? The Katawa Shojo project is a collaborative attempt to create a Japanese-style visual novel. It's kinda ambitious, and we had a music guy, but he sort of disappeared on us, so we could use some music. If anyone is interested, all you have to do is make good music that fits, here are some screenshots: http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w87/tcdohl/KSscreenshot1.jpg http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w87/tcdohl/KSscreenshot2.jpg http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w87/tcdohl/KSscreenshot3.jpg Our IRC channel is located at irc://irc.rizon.net/zettai-shoujou Our (as of yet unfinished) website is at www.katawa-shoujo.com Our forums are over at http://zettaishoujo.danmaku.net/forums/index.php Quote

TcDohl Posted September 1, 2007 Author Posted September 1, 2007 What IS appropriate good music for something like this? Depends. Sometimes it would be typical bishojo game fare, other times pure classical, etc. If you want to sample what it's like, I'll PM you the link to some of our sample scenes. Quote
Dhsu Posted September 4, 2007 Posted September 4, 2007 Haha, I would totally whip up some sappy piano solo for this if I had the means to do so at the moment. But instead I will wish you luck in finding someone else who can do that. Quote
OverCoat Posted September 4, 2007 Posted September 4, 2007 I want to do this so hard, but I am actually already working on a more serious visual novel right now. Very glad to see this being made though. For now, just use canyon.mid for every scene. Quote
Skrypnyk Posted September 4, 2007 Posted September 4, 2007 This game sounds morally wrong....so I must contribute something. I would like a sample of the kind of music you'd like, the length you'd like it, the file type you want, etc. etc. Quote
OverCoat Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 oshit just remembered I had a h-game ish track. it's even super-cheesy midi format http://soundtempest.net/soc/single/oc-cst66-Ah-Eh-I-Oh-You.mid you can use this if you want Quote
