HoboKa
lol, Zirc it just occured to me - why do u need to post your remixes on the wip forums when you're already high and mighty? do u really need us nubs to help you ?
Tensei
lol, Zirc it just occured to me - why do u need to post your remixes on the wip forums when you're already high and mighty? do u really need us nubs to help you ? Has it ever occured to you that when you're all 'high and mighty', you might still want to hear feedback on your mixes, even from 'nubs'? After all, the way you perceive your own mix will always be completely different from the way someone else hears it, so certain details will stand out, and others will get ignored. Having others listen to your mix is always a great way to get an objective look at it, no matter whether you're 'high and mighty' or a 'nub'. Also, Zircon, update this already
Fishy
Bela D Media's Lyrical Distortion partially amped through Guitar Rig 2. Hoping to get Sixto or Fishy to hook it up with the real thing though. You rang?

Eino Keskitalo
Excellent orchestral intro and a lovely transition to the electronics. The first snare sounds a bit out of place.. but I can't quite pinpoint what's "wrong" with it. It sounds a bit too "thick". Don't know if that helps. Otherwise, very enjoyable and effortless sounding. --Eino
zircon
I finished this and now Sixto is adding guitars. Prepare to have your faces melted.

1makes2
sounds quite good! i like how you blended the dnb elements with the rock and zircon elements! now you just need water and electricity elements and this song will be a chart topper! lol no but it does sound really good..... whenever i try to make dnb stuff the bass never sounds right.... how do you do it?? zircon
The bass here is from Zebra 2, a modified version of a custom patch I made (uncreatively titled "Ultra Bass"). Here's a snapshot of the synthesis architecture. And here's the FX chain - go from left to right, top to bottom. The stereo volume slider there is linked to the kick for light sidechaining. The Derrit
I haven't posted at all in awhile but I think this post is worth it. Bump for "this is still excellent, possible progress update if you can!" And of course, much congratulations on the Uematsu remix competition. zircon
It has been done for like a month now, and subbed. Y'all will have to wait until it's posted. I got Sixto onboard for all live guitars.
