zircon Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 Just started working on a new CD. After scrapping about 5-6 WIPs and track ideas, I came up with something I am actually happy with. It's nu-skool/progressive breaks in the style of Hybrid, who I've been really into lately. They seem quite popular on the WIP boards here lately also Anyway, here's what I have so far. http://www.soundtempest.net/system.mp3 Enjoy! Quote
The Unsung Plumber Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 Hellz yes. nice breakbeat man, love the strings at :29, hehe, drop at 1:06 and different strings. Perfect. Quote
Sole Signal Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 That intro break is sweet. Great track man; can't wait to hear more. Quote
ellywu2 Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 sick. 1:07 is great and i'm glad to see you've nailed the hybrid bass as well. Quote
The Joker Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 I really dig this. You've totally nailed the Hybrid sound, as well as injecting a bit of your own, which is awesome. Quote
PlastikBag Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 More awesome stuff that I've come to expect from you. Quote
zircon Posted November 26, 2007 Author Posted November 26, 2007 Thanks for the comments! I'm finishing this up (in private) now, it will end up being about 5-5:30 but it's very dynamic throughout. Quote
HoboKa Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 I'd pay for a whole CD with songs like this. This feels like an action scene in a movie, and the breakdown is just aww man...sexy. Great stuff Zirc, can't wait for your newest album Quote
zircon Posted December 19, 2007 Author Posted December 19, 2007 Finished, available on my MySpace www.myspace.com/zirconst Quote
