BardicKnowledge
Saying any Internet lingo / abbreivations out loud is stupid, IMO. It's just a shorthand to save us typing time. Who actually says all this stuff in person (I've heard a few people say "lol" as a one-syllable word, which makes them sound incredibly strange) anyway? Kirie
I know that Hawk over at Applegeeks still uses it semi-frequently--at least in his comic persona. Ah, I see. Still other than that though, don't really see it used much nowadays. Or maybe I just don't dig that deep into the internet. XD Please don't tell me they just said that. I really hope they were joking. D:

Lemonectric
I've heard a few people say "lol" as a one-syllable word, which makes them sound incredibly strange I do that once in a while, but never outside the safety of my own home. In general, internet lingo was never meant to be spoken. "w00t" sounds somewhat questionable and awkward out loud. Of course, sometimes the occasion calls for that. I have been known to say awkward and/or annoying things around close friends/relatives.
