  1. Metal Man, that's a very... interesting placement of that mic. Why is it there? I know it would distract the hell out of me.
  2. I actually just ordered one of berklee's books, so hopefully it's helpful as well.
  3. Little off topic, but I think someone had prior knowledge of VocalClockedRemix.
  4. I think he's trying to convey that he likes originality, and HATES when meaningless pop-y generic vocals "corrupt" otherwise great tracks. ...also, I just read that story, and... it's scary. It's scary what we can become, and what we can make you children become. Mind you, it's only a hypothetical, but I believe it could happen, the neglect I've seen these days by parents.
  5. It's not bad, in fact I mostly like it, except for two things: 1. Still very random/mixed up/spontaneous. I'm not saying you shouldn't have variation, just, making it progress in a more structured way may help. 2. (minor) it sounds like the first little glitchy sound (around :08 in) is kind of loud? It sounded a little like clipping to me, at least.
  6. what kind of genre are you looking for? Something chiptune-like, or more modern RPG tunes?
  7. (trying to contain excitement here) April? I think I can do this, yes.
  8. I sent you an audition for djembe player, as I noticed you had no percussion yet.
  9. I'll try for the end of next weekend, I'm usually busy during the week.
  10. Is there room for me to have the "Future" track?
  11. ^This. It's kinda hard to avoid these drum sounds on a tight budget, they are everywhere now. Unless you want some killer studio chops as a bundle deal. Oh wait...
  12. More like the Rapture of OCR. Anyway, I'm sorry to hear you lost interest, even though I just got here and barely know you. I hope you are successful in whatever you decide to do.
  13. It's gotta be dubstep, make it real generic, or just steal someone else's song, then add some samples in form the show, maybe lower the BPM, put a new drum track over it. You can't sell it, but it should promote your channel enough for your other stuff. Profit!
  14. I love it. It's great to see the (the sequel to the) first proper game I ever played getting some love. I must say, you can still hear th original song in there, which is good. Far too many remixes sound completely different, and while they are often awesome (especially on this site), sometimes you just want to hear a little different take on the track. The style is perfect for listening to in a dimly lit room, later in the evening (which just happens to be where I'm sitting right now). The voice in the background is odd and funny; "silly ideas start coming into your head anyway, and I just start listening to yellow submarine, yeah." HILARIOUS. The mixing and mastering sounds good to me, the sound is nicely proportioned considering what the song is trying to do. I love it!
