  1. When I asked for a melodic one with vocals I should have clarified an easy one, not one that is crazy harder than even the last round would have been Gosh darn you Kat / Mouse!

  2. Changing genres is fine. It's the (majority thereof) notation, mood, energy and pacing being retained that I'm mainly concerned about. Besides, I'm only one vote. Everyone else seems to have a different perspective of what it is to be MnP. So, go crazy

  3. Just so I know I've seen people say not to arrange the mixes too much for MnP, but what if I wanted to make a proper remix? For example I would kind of want to make an electronic thing with auto tune vocals, kind of one of those hip people songs.. so it'd be different from the original, that is if I even enter 2 weeks is NOT a lot of wiggle room..I could easily see not being able to hit the deadline

  4. Naaaaah, easy would've been too easy. I might do something with the source, but my usual field(orchestral) has already been destroyed by an in-game arrangement of it, so I'll have to try something different.

  5. It's a bit pricier than the linked one up there, but this is likely a little more solid: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202197 4 GB of RAM will help it stay relevant for longer, too, as opposed to 2 GB. EDIT: To clarify, I love my 750Ti, but for raw gaming horsepower bang for buck, AMD is definitely the way to go. Generally, Nvidia = better driver stability, and AMD = raw power.

  6. Topic has been locked and links removed; @SnappleMan wrote the rationale/reasoning perfectly, so I don't have to. The seriousness of the content in question and the acts that it depicts trump decorum and tact, in my mind, but I actually think many responses were quite calm & reasonable, including the one I quoted above. I appreciate your appeal to principle, art, and policy. On the third point, I disagree with you that our standing policy surrounding pornography does not apply. On principle & art... I'm a passionate defender of free speech and I'm opposed to censorship, but my choosing for OCR to be a place devoid of content that in any way exploits sexual abuse & rape is a form of speech too. This is me speaking: I'm not okay with this site and this community providing a resource that aids in the creation of content of this nature.

  7. Laughed my ass off seeing snappleman try to take the high road. Not even kaze neko believes the quality of character here justifies the response. Actually I'm sure he feels that way, after all the stupidity that's gone on here. If you don't like the project and don't want to work for it, then shut your damn mouth and move on. Hey, news flash -- we don't get a choice. OCR will do whatever the hell it damn pleases and promote whoever it wants to, it's not going to ask you for permission, and it's not going to take into consideration whether you or I like the person. Though if OCR secretly is asking you permission then I'd like to know why you made some of the choices you have in the past concerning the site. OCR rules aren't open to anyone's individual interpretation. They're pretty straightforward, and they should be followed. Don't see any porn in kaze neko's sig, so he's above board. You others are not.
