I REALLY need.. Strings (violin mainly) that sound good and don't have a long attack time. I have some decent sounding soundfonts for strings, but none of them can do anything faster than a quarter note without being cut off entirely because of the attack time. Clean sounding trombone/trumpet/french horn/any orchestral brass. I have a few, but of course, they just don't fit what I want. I have squidfont but those don't do much for me. I have that 'joshua melodic trumpet' but I can't seem to get that to produce the sound I want, no matter how much I change the equalizer or add effects. The sound I'm going for is something for an orchestral piece. That's all for now. Thank you for whatever you may so graciously give me.

I'm not entirely sure how to do it. Like, say you have a channel that has a muffled sound. Then you make it gradually transition into a cleaner, brighter sound. I'm not quite hip to your jive lingo yet, so you'll have to bear with me there.

Quick question - how can I fade between different effect channels? Say I have a track on FX 1, and I want it to fade into FX 4 over the span of about 5 measures... how do I do this? At least, I THINK that's how it's done, judging from songs I've heard in the past. Thank you.

I need a good, full, loud and obnoxious sounding trumpet and trombone. Think of the kind you would find in a ska song, as that's what I'm making a mix of. Orchestral ones just don't quite cut it.

Right. Also, what if I find soundfonts in the '.sfpack' format? Am I just unable to use them? EDIT: Ai also found a useful one in the format '.sfArk' I'd really like to use some of these but FL only shows .sf2 in there

Sorry if this has been asked. Searching through 100 pages of posts seems a bit daunting right now... But I have the demo version, and according to this it comes also with a demo version of the Fruity Soundfond Player. How do I open the Soundfont player, as I'm really quite sick of using the default samples.
