Actually, I'm attracted to men and women for the simple reason that some of them are attractive.
I don't need no definition of my type, and all that bs. I find someone attractive, I am attracted, I try to get closer to that person. Sometimes its physical, sometimes its psychological, sometimes its intellectual, but in all cases it has the commonality that it is attractive to me.
I don't quite expect you to understand that, because apparently you need reasons to be attracted to someone beyond that person being attractive.

I think it was mostly the fact that the whole era was also when the internet was shifting from being something for "nerds" (for lack of a better word) to being part of regular life. For some of us older folks, we saw a lot of things changing, and unmod was basically a spot where we settled to be dumb on the internet. Also I think a lot of people were trying to figure out this internet thing. (And I know in my case I was dealing with a lot of personal shit and being here was pure escapism from reality.)
But in the end, I think a lot of the tribalism was in jest in actuality. We could turn from being trolls to being supportive people in about half a second. To me, unmod will always remain a fond moment in time.
 
But yeah, we were hella cringey too.

I would like to have my name changed to: The Author
I'm quite sure my name changing won't cause the end of the world, and thanks in advance for the name change.

Seriously, you guys are stuck on a one off joke... 

More of an homage when you think about it. Or ya know, the force is shaping the universe in mysterious ways.
