To answer the original question...No. I felt a blood rage the likes of which only rivaled by my feelings on 9/12/01. At the time i was only 13 years old or so and i didnt know of that particular twist at the time. So when it happened it hit me stone cold omfg out of the blue. For about an hour after words about to the point i got to the snow village all i could think about was hunting down seph and sticking cloud's sword straight through his neck. I have grown since then and games no longer thankfully invoke that kind of intense response. At least from me. Real life can on occasion but not often. Know that i am not comparing events. I am stating nothing more than how i felt. No twist no turn in any TV show game or movie before or since rivaled that one epic moment the first time. The only thing that surpassed what i felt then. Was what i felt on 9/12/01 when i began to realize what the hell had happened. When a game evokes an emotional response due to its story you know its done something most just cant do. Those moments thankfully are few and far between as they should be.

Consider the fact (if you have seen her site) she looks like one its not hard to believe she sounds like one as well. This is unbelieveable. I had to listen to this one in wav as the MP3 format was just un*******real. An incredible mix from Pixie and Zircon Talk about an opening number! Unbelieveable!

The thing is this was a real problem in OLD LCD's the first and second generation stuff not what we currently have today. If the man had one of those way back then (10-15 years ago) It is very possible he experienced that problem. LCD and projections back then had major problems with videogames over extended periods. So while today's TV's might not have it, the guy might have real reason for no video games on that TV. Personally i think you guys are right and its BS he is making up but i have seen the results myself on the older stuff.

Thankfully the new computer games arent dx10 exclusive but that may only be a matter of time. And the term you are looking for is M.E. Unfortunately Microsoft is making the move that some videogame companies made before the PS No backward compatabilty forcing everyone if they want to play certain games to upgrade. I dont know how long XP support will last nor how viable one of those DX 10 projects are. Vista sucks royally but gamers may be left with no choice unless Apple/Mac finally gets it through their heads that they can wipe microsoft off the map if they open up to gamers. Its a sucky situation. But its what we got.

I fully agree with building your own. If you are a complete novice look for barebone kits. Sweet setups some come with ram some dont but they will all have processors motherboards and power supplies (The three biggest headaches) already installed. Every year PC gamer does a PC building bible. Its worth the money if you can still find one on news stands. It has everything you need including parts recommendations. I will hopefully be building the next house computer and for certain i will be building my own personal computer when i am ready for it. You can go through them but these days if you know what you are doing and can find the right information its significantly cheaper to build your own. Even with OS most solid current config necessary gaming pc's dont require more than 1100 The ones that do probably are dx10 jobs. With the current list of DX 9 games including HL's upcoming episodes SC 2 unreal tournament 3 Far Cry 2 and other massive name games (not to mention some MMO's going both DX10 and 9 compatable) You dont need to move to vista either. This will save about a hundred. Build it man. You will thank yourself later.

Pixie i dont know if you read these boards often but the more i think about it the more i believe you may be the only one who could pull off the task i am about to request. In Final Fantasy 3/6 There is a scene in the opera house (anyone who played the game knows what i am talking about) In that scene General Celes gets thrown into the act as their Diva goes down. I have yet to find a vocal remix of this song. I havent played in ages so i am uncertain as if it turns into a duet or not. But while there are many Final Fantasy Remixes already on this sight there has yet to be a true one done of this song. Thanks for looking in on this thread.

this is SOP for vista. My recommendation buy an OEM copy of XP from tiger direct or new egg. Also i think Dell IS allowing its people to choose OS's But i havent bought a computer in ages so i dont know.

I have a level 73 necro USA East Ladder but my computer will probably be in the shop before the end of the week Rundown of gear. Arm of King Leoric (weapon) Homu. (necro shield) Trang-Olu Armor Undead Crown Magical +3 summoning skills ammy Marrowwalk boots Chance gloves Nagel and a rotating ring with various addons. I have most of the way points for normal and NM with the ability to solo any boss on those difficulty levels with rather solid speed. I am a summoner geared for hell raising and all out wars capable of a total of 30 different summons (golem/skeletons/revives) Access to all curses and a level 21 corpse explosion which clears rooms in a hurry. I can blitz anyone If on USA east to hell difficulty from there though you will be on your own. My price will be the NM forge most likely. You can keep the lower one. As for equipment this character only needs 3 for optimal summoner Arach belt (unique spiderweb mesh) and stones of jordan. As for items i still need a necro torch and an anni. I will try to make but i am on spotty conditions till the middle of next week.

What is revolutinary about this: The game seems to allow quite frankly endless potential based upon PLAYER DEVELOPMENT! not a gaming company adding constant expansions or large patches. You as a player will be able to design a class completely all your own. A game can be as complex or as simple as you want. Everything is in the hands of the player in this game. This can make the game speed favorable for nearly everyone. This game has incredible potential. And as for Anaclunn i think thats exactly what this game is. I do have a great deal of enthusasim because this game is being overlooked. And as for Red Shadow. No. Not just an MMO with graphics a game with unlimited potential and complexity. Something that is going to make every other gaming company stand up and take notice. I know its early but this game has my full attention and i think everyone should keep an eye on it. Usually i am not this flowery with praise but a simple 'hey its cool' imo wouldnt of done this justice. I am an advanced gamer i have played since atarii and continue to do so today i want my games to have serious challenge rather than just twitch. This seems to offer that. Keep your eyes on it. I know i will be doing the same.

No.....its a lot more than that. I wish i could make the conventions but i am going to have to wait for reports the way this looks...its a true fusion between the MMO and the PNP...on a level like nothing ever before considered... Whats being shown so far from my travels in that website is a level of customization even Anarchy online would drool at. This system is pc based for sure. I cant believe the utter SCOPE of what this game entails. Its awe inspiring. Dont even think of comparing this to DND its much much more indepth and freeform. This is not going to be a paper and pencil like you think. The nearest comparision i could draw would be a system like web rpg or openrpg but one with a massive amount more development and time invested. This would allow for graphical encounters high level calcuations multiple games being able to be played at the same time. The works. If someone can make these convention dates in their news section please give us the rundown of this! I am flying by the seat of my pants on speculation at this point.

There is another movie out. Solid State society. It was on scifi this year and i know its on DVD....this one is by FAR the most mindwarping. I pray they go to a third season but i have no clue where its going to go.

My response to this debate is simple. The rating groups allow many violent and graphic...near war like graphic images to be allowed to gamers. Move anywhere however near nudity no matter how circumstancial it might be or anywhere near higher levels of romance in general and it gets squashed in a picosecond. I dont give a crap about ratings if i ever have kids. I will be the one making the decisions on what games my kids play. A lot of events in violent video games (Certain FPS) i would go to 18 or 21 and above. Thats me. The fact is the people who rate games are nothing but hypocrites. Violance has been around a lot longer and in FAR GREATER ACCESS TO CHILDREN! I point to the typical comic book from marvel or DC over the past FIFTY FRIGGIN YEARS. Movies past 1960 and TV past 1970! For many people myself included video games are a friggin release from the crap that is normal life. I can be as annoying as i want i can throw something right back in someone's face when online and i dont have to deal with them getting their buddies to beat my fucking head in or key my car. Personally i consider them a moderating influence in older people. In developing children however...anyone under the age of 16 who is allowed to play most M rated games today shouldnt. Their parents are idiots and dont have a clue. This all comes down to one thing. Parrential responsiblity. The two words the anti violance lobby HATES WITH A PASSION. If parents actually give a shit they wont be playin these kind of games. Good luck on your report. But honestly play up the parrential responsibility angle.

Its a pretty decent sized debate on the EVE online forums thats how i first came across this. They found this while searching a movie currently with the title 1-18-08 all we know about this title is that it was a preview launched with the transformers movie and afaik no others. However it seems this site and anything related to it is not linked with 1-18-08 The way they are being talked about and what they suggested in their final vid (i managed to unlock all the puzzles) Leads me to believe a new game is about to burst onto the scene. But the thing is there has been ZERO buzz about anything related. I was hoping someone here might have a inkling.
