Aw, I just noticed that I didn't get my entire slime collection in-frame. Missing is the orange slime my sister crocheted for me. I got the slime hat when DQIX was released, they were giving them away at Best Buy.

In general, most of my compo remixes sound similar because I tend to stick with what I know when on a time crunch. I try to experiment with new styles and techniques, but when I only have a week (~20 hours) to work on a song, I don't want to spend most of that time experimenting with new stuff.

The source usage on Splash Supafly should be fairly obvious, but if not it's Sigma Stage 2 during the verse sections and Splash Warfly during the chorus and bridge sections.

The most important thing I learned in this compo is how to get ideas down fast and that I should never spend a ton of time tweaking minor things before writing the entire song structure.

I've moved apartments in the last month. I hate the gauntlet theme this week. I hate my maverick theme. I have had a few drinks tonight.
