I just checked out the compo schedule. I thought this was the final round, but it looks like the real final round is in April?

FUCK. YES. A few of my vocals did not come out as I would have liked, so I will gladly take this extra time to make sure everything's on pitch. (Even though that likely means another 1am bedtime tonight) Sorry you're not feeling well MW!

I'm not really a fan of mid-week deadlines. I'd much prefer Sunday afternoon deadlines, so I can stay up til ungodly hours of the night perfecting my remix. Can't really do that when I have to be at work in the morning :/ All my lyrics are written, just have to record and process them all tomorrow. No big deal, right?

I think my song is mostly done, but I still need to write all the lyrics. Hopefully I can come up with stuff that doesn't sound stupid before the end of the day, otherwise I won't have time to record and process them.

I had a bit of a slow start to mine, but now I think I know what I'm doing with this song.

I thought In Yer Castle was a better arrangement of the 3 sources (especially Inner Halls, I had a hell of a time integrating that one), but I voted for myself because

The launch has been super confusing for me. I just want all 3 versions, but I guess there's no way to get them all without either buying 1 full and the other 2 as DLC, or buying the super-rare 3-in-1 cartridge? I loved Awakening and know I will love Fates too, but I haven't picked it up yet. If I had to choose, I'd choose Conquest first.

I haven't forgotten about this. I'm trying to organize my project commitments right now, and I think I can get something temporary by the end of March maybe? Still planning on that Spelunky remix, possibly in a blues style.

I would just like to give fair warning that I may not be submitting something up to my standards for this round. I've been dealing with a lot of pre-MAG anxiety and stress, and so far I don't have anything down for my track that I'm proud of. MAGFest is taking up most of this week, so I'll pretty much be submitting whatever I can get done next Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday night. I will most certainly submit something, rest assured. On an unrelated note, who here am I going to see at MAGFest?!
