  1. This mix is very good and yet again isn't good at all. All the technical aspects of this piece are executed flawlessly. The vocals were very good for this piece which is hard to do for a remix IMO. The part where this piece fails is from the 6/4 timing. I had to really concentrate to try to pick out the original melody and I could barely make it out. "People of the North Pole" is probably my favorite track from the OST and this mix just didn't feel like it did the original any justice. Unless you told someone what this was a remix of, they'd never be able to figure it out themselves, and that's where this remix fails IMO. 8.75/10 Worth keeping.
  2. There hasn't been a mix from Dhsu that I haven't liked, and this is no exception. Excellent piece. Very enjoyable. Just don't listen to it at work... You wouldn't want to fall asleep and get yourself into trouble.
  3. Hey, Larry, I have a request. Odds are you've played it already, but hey there's a chance you haven't. It's Fluss der Liebe, the Final Fantasy 7 mix by DarkPrinceLuca, Freemind, GrayLightning, and Israfel.
  4. I was hesitant at first to download this song after reading the mix contained singing. I think (or thought) that singing in a remix sort of takes away from the whole point of remixing a track that didn't have singing in it in the first place (well for the vast majority anyway). However, this mix has changed the way I thought about said mixes. The lyrics relate to the FFIV story line nicely (sort of kind of, right?). Also, I thought it was awesome how he went from a quiet guitar solo into a rockin' mix. The mix kind of reminds me of Led Zepplin's "Stair Way to Heaven." Great mix and a must download for any FFIV fan.
  5. It's been a while since we've had a rock remix (hasn't it?) I liked this mix. It's good in that it sounds like the original track, yet still has originality to it. Although I don't have a real good ear for remixes (ie can't really tell if it was just slapped together or not like DiscoDan can (hey I rhymed )) it still sounds good to me.
  6. Orkybash hit it on the nose. The mix is good in whole, but the intro totally ruined it for me. Perhaps FFmusic Dj would be willing submit the same mix minus the intro? That would make the song so much better than it is IMHO.
  7. BEST MEGA MAN 5 SONG ON THIS SITE!!!.... because it's currently the only one on the site. But, none the less, it's still a very very good song and you should probably download it.
  8. Words cannot even begin to describe how f*cking awesome this song is. I'm speechless. Out of the current 141 remixes I have in my play list, this is my absolute favorite. If you want to hear a piece that will relax you, download this song. If you want to be blown away by perfection, download this song. I wish I could loop it so it could fit on to an entire cd. Only a few songs have come close to this piece as being my favorite mix, but I have yet to listen to a song that has to top "Another Insperation" It's gold, Scott! Pure gold!
  9. Hearing this song brings back memories of playing Mega Man 2... except the song wasn't a rock mix I like it alot though
  10. McVaffe = remixing guru. This track is the justice, not you. Download now.
  11. Nice upbeat jazzy sound! Haa-ta-ta! Yeah! Nice beat! w00+ DJP!
  12. I generaly don't download music to games I haven't played unless DJP give them a highly recommended, because he's generaly never wrong about a highly recommended. Anyway, bravo for the only FF3j mix on this site. I can tell you right now, it's the best FF3j mix on the site!!! ;P Seriously though, It's really really good. Download it.
  13. Any of AE's mixes are great and this one's no exception. Although it's not my personal favorite of his it's my second favorite. I also liked the syth electric guitar(?) solo at 2:48. Nice.
  14. I must be honest. The first time I heard it, I was skeptical. But then I listened to it a few more times and it grew on me, and now I think it's a great mix. It would have been fun if DJ Carbunkle added one or two sound bits of Luigi calling out for Mario, but that would have just been icing on the cake.
