  1. Technically they all are "ran ran ru" however in your case you're referring to the .In any rate if they bothered you, try these "G-Major" remixes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-m1J4dOAjg (probably the most pleasant out of them and that's saying something) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G_2aAYNwNgA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2qRbtEKXdA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rlvHWvOul4I http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xm8xfuoYbHU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fh5QTEIrEmU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BOOqA_32TpU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bkCBjPY3jZw (ahahahahaha)
  2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=voMJtstxE9w http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sxk_jDr-ldw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wLk6IBVYrmI Take your pick I happen to like the last one.
  3. To be fair the extra stuff's not necessary / can be had in-game through grinding. However I do agree that it's ridiculous; $1.99 may not seem much but for 21 downloads I could easily just buy Persona 3 Portable or a digital copy of MGS:Peace walker instead.
  4. If there is one thing I have to complain about the US PSN is that they have yet to port over the "Spear of Destiny" Super CD Package which is the prequel to Wolf3D but also some extra addon. Sure I can get it on Steam but strangely enough it warrants being on the huge screen in all of it's hideously pixelated glory. also killing me so long ago. I got past all those undead mutants, the ubermutant, the Iron Knights, and the fucking robot guards only to run out of ammo...I will say I am amazed that the European PSN store is missing out on the Rockin Android release of the ; what the fuck..?
  5. Due to its use of Nazi symbols such as the Swastika and the anthem of the Nazi Party, Horst-Wessel-Lied, as theme music, the PC version of the game was withdrawn from circulation in Germany in 1994, following a verdict by the Amtsgericht München on January 25, 1994 (Az. 2 Gs 167/94). Despite the fact that Nazis are portrayed as the enemy in Wolfenstein, the use of those symbols is a federal offense in Germany unless certain circumstances apply (see Strafgesetzbuch section 86a). Similarly, the Atari Jaguar version was confiscated following a verdict by the Amtsgericht Berlin Tiergarten on December 7, 1994 (Az. 351 Gs 5509/94). Due to concerns from Nintendo of America, the Super NES version was modified to not include any swastikas or Nazi references; furthermore, blood was replaced with sweat to make the game seem less violent, and the attack dogs in the game were replaced by giant mutant rats. This is pretty much the gist of it. It's rather similar to Australia's current issues with "violent" gaming such as the watering down of L4D/2 and at the time the ban on the recent AvP game; overall though any mentioning or depictions of Nazism is verboten! Also similarly in regards to Proph's comments. In March 2008, the United States Department of State published a report to Congress, "Contemporary Global Anti-Semitism", that described Return to Castle Wolfenstein as an "anti-Semitic video game" with no qualifications. The report picked up on an article originally written in 2002 by Jonathan Kay of the New York Times regarding the recent introduction of "Nazi protagonists" in the online gaming market (referring specifically to Day of Defeat and Wolfenstein). The article was published just 19 days before Medal of Honor: Allied Assault was released which shares many similar features, and the Nazi protagonists in multiplayer. In Germany as far as I understand it's not criminal to discuss its history, but it is a crime to bring back the Nazi propaganda and imagery in ways of glorifying it.
  6. It's not so much as Sony wanting control over availability but also local laws that certain regions actually prohibit the sale of certain games; such as Wolfenstein 3D in Germany. It's perfectly available in the US PSN but I've not heard about it on the Euro-psn.
  7. So hey it turns out there will be a Collecter's Edition to the DS game. The DS successor to the PS2/Wii classic will in Japan ship in this collector's edition, which for a humble little DS game is extravagant. It includes a copy of the game, enormous box, a soundtrack, DVD, storybook (incuding illustrations), plush figure keyring and adorable little earphones. Those ordering it from Capcom's online store in Japan will also get a celestial brush stylus to go with it. How much will all this cost? ¥8000, which is around USD$90. Okamiden will be out in Japan on September 30, while over here, it's not out until 2011.
  8. Zdoom's more meant for single player action and playing awesome custom wads, or for the green-horns, custom single player campaigns. Skulltags generally for multiplayer games and yes, believe it or not, there are servers; you just need to figure out how to set it up correctly to find them. Considering your previous posts I'd be wary about joining any server where you're admin. For the topic, zdaemon just isn't as huge these days as far as I've seen. edit* Here are some other issues that seem to come up a lot about zdaemon... I'm a huge fan of DOOM but what the fuck..? Seriously..?
  9. Generally anything beyond the norm or at least mainstream as well as nostalgic manages .
  10. Prefer Skulltag and zdoom myself... Heck I've made a thread about them a long time ago.
  11. This is probably the only time being near a heavy randomly using natascha ever felt perfect in popping soldiers with equalizers. Bad enough they can run circles around automated sentries, doubt the wrangled-ones would fair better up close; assuming for whatever reason the soldier doesn't kill the engy.
  12. Why not just drill a hole descretely or have a specialist do it?
  13. Yep just learned more about it, makes me thankful I got it through a less savory means. Nonetheless I'm glad to at least add some tracks into my collection that were not part of it before.
  14. Do what I did, get headshots often with the shotgun from a good distance and only ever use the pump shotty and deagle. always fun imho
  15. I have a friend who does but since he has a US bought PS3 I assume they work just fine; he never said he had problems. Case in point, when he heard about Yakuza 3 being "butchered" (I say that rather loosely) for the US he decided to go for the Japanese Ver. Edit* on a different note, despite not having any interest in multiplayer Gollgagh, you should at least give SSFIV or some of the other games a chance online. At least you're not paying a silly subscription for online connectivity and gameplay.
  16. Yep, it's one of those times that Nickelodeon did something right.
  17. Strangly enough my old 4:3 20in magnavox with the rca cables is able to display all of my PS3 games just fine; looks rather... "confined" and small text becomes real small but looks fine nonetheless.
  18. I can understand what you mean, Some examples on Illusionary Dance/Dance of Illusions. Special Note* Despite Legacy of Darkness essentially being the "Director's Cut" version of Castlevania 64 I never noticed the different versions they used for Illusionary Dance. Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness Ver Strangely found it to be the most unique. Castlevania - Dawn of Sorrow Ver Castlevania: Judgement Ver II There are just enough tracks not covered by either OCR or DoD that warranted me getting it though. Edit* Also no thoughts on "Harmony of Despair"? oh well...
  19. Okay so recently a very good friend of mind alerted me to a box collection I must have. It's the Akumajo Dracula Best Music Collections BOX. EIGHTEEN DISCS WITH ONE MORE AS THE DVD?! WHAT THE FUUUUUUUUUUCK?! Had to have it after I heard some of the tracks. Here are some tracks off Youtube... Prelude - Castlevania III Wicked Child Walking on Edge - AWESOME POISON MIND - Mini-boss Beginning Cross Your Heart Bloody Tears Theme of Simon Belmont Vampire Killer Illusionary Dance Black Night - Dracula's Final Form - any old fan of Castlevania would recall this theme way back on the old NES Castlevania. Stage Clear theme These tracks are merely a sampling of the tracks available in the collection. The collection itself practically covers all Castlevania games; from the old "Vampire Killer" on the MSX2 to Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia; it even covers "retconned from the timeline" games such as Castlevania 64 and Castlevania Legends on the old Gameboy along with the rest of the handhelds. As of this post it should be sitting at my home right about this late afternoon by the time I get back. In other news there seems to be a slim chance that will appear on the PSN if it sells well on LIVE for the 360. Not sure if want considering there are no Belmonts actually joining the fray.
  20. I got foobar2k managing a touhou music collection that is about 500GB+ of music alone; not counting album cover art ect. That's PLUS as it's still growing as well. Trust me when I say it's pretty much the only player worth a damn in regards to huge play lists and music management.
  21. Not so much as cried in sadness but in rage and simply not preparing myself when I finally finished all of MGS: Peacewalker. God damn you Kojima, I fucking saw it a mile away but still god damn you! Almost yelled as hard as Snake did in the game's cutscenes when I fully realized what was happening at that specific point when it came up. Great game but fucking hell that part...
  22. Europeans often get shafted harder than prostitutes when it comes to games in general. Let's just say they should hope for a euro-release. That said... In regards to Blazblue: Continuum Shift:
  23. I could agree with that, as for Rachel I suppose I really should look up on what others say considering I found her to be the most enjoyable to mess around with yet rarely played. Gave me the impression she's underrated lol. Never felt I had that much trouble setting up combos with her as well as zoning; Taokaka on the other hand...
  24. With that settled... A decent Rachel-Alucard Combo Exhibition video~! It's a shame that she's underrated...
