I've listened to your submissions to VGMix and I have to tell you that this is exactly the sound I was looking for for "Delicate Affection", so you are gladly welcome to do this song! I won't hand this out so easily to anyone because this piece really has some importance to me and I was looking for a really beautiful orchestral version of it. But you seem to have all that stuff ready *signs up* Communication and WIP submissions are taking place on the project site's forum, which is at the moment down due to maintenance. Haha, of course...the vocals are missing, and it's a very very coarse try at this, basically I just wanted to show it because of the sounds. But rest assured, it wouldn't make it on the project like this. I got a more easy version in mind right now.

Better buy a 50-pack spindle. It seems like one of the toughest things will be to make sure that each track individually is worth listening to as well. I dont know about anybody else, but if it gets to the point mine are unlistenable you guys can remove me and I wont get upset. Maybe if I can find a cheap program to make midi's I can get around my crappy soundfonts... BTW, I think I'm gonna start Raven from scratch. Maybe I'll incorporate the string parts else where but I dont think it will piano anymore. If you want to do your mix in MIDI, I volunteer to record it! Just to let you know. Since they both have the same theme in them (the Secret of Mana main theme) it's not a big deal, go ahead On a sad note, Adhesive_Boy has left us, so we are still stuck at 75%, leaving 15 songs open. But that's still a lot, and as I said, I volunteer to do some open songs, if necessary. If any other mixers do, this will be even more great and we get to a higher coverage I would at least like to see someone taking Evening Star... And I would totally love Delicate Affection to be done in a Junkmonkey-kind of style. A song that sweet also needs sweet instruments. But I know, you are too busy already, Junk :/

Sweet Lord, *that's* TOO much now! 1) I haven't signed onto this project to start with. I merely volunteered to do a song and thought I would make someone happy with it. I was prepared that it might not fit in the project because I haven't asked before, and that's how it turned out in the end. 2) Aeth did NOT tell me to change it, just how he hates it. I could post the chatlog here, but I won't because it would just add drama to the whole situation here. Just believe me it was this way. 3) I know Aeth told me not to post here again, but that *IS* too much now, really! You can't accuse me of things I haven't done at all! So, and now I ask you a favor in return for not posting here anymore. Please don't tell any more things that are not true about me, K? K. Stop bashing me for no reason. Please.

Man...there must be some way to find out what is the problem... I would at first recommend that you stay away from anything that can harm your health even more, like unhealthy food, refined salt, wireless devices and cell phones, and go outside every day, maybe take a walk or something. I am really concerned about you, you mean a lot to me, so I really really hope for the best... :/

Oh, you got problems with your WIP? There were a few forum problems. At the moment the new forums are being set up by Zak, so in the meantime you can just send me the WIP over AIM/MSN/YIM or PM me here in the forum with an URL to the WIP. Don't worry too much, as you have a WIP. I think there are people around here who don't have a WIP yet and I am more worried about them...

*sigh* Why do I have to put all the things right that people put wrong here? First of all, Aetherius didn't ask me to change anything, he just said how the sounds made him vomit or made his ears bleed. There was not a single positive comment in there, so how in the world should I figure out that he actually liked the mix? There were other people in the channel at that time that can prove me right. Don't worry too much about that. Once all the WIPs come rolling in there will be discussions about them in the forum (when it's back on - Callin' Zak here ) to help improve the overall quality of the project. This way the less experienced people will get help by the more experienced ones, so they even learn in the process!

The board was affected by the hacking attack because it was on the same server together with some other sites. One of the other sites suffered a hack attack and some of the server side stuff went haywire because of that, even though the SD3 project's board was not directly attacked. Now Zak wants to set up a new board and copy the messages to the new one, at least the important ones. We have to wait a bit, though, because he is kinda busy right now. This will be remedied in around a week, he told me. So, until then, we have to wait, so just PM the links with the WIPs to me

Don't worry about your WIP now... it's OK that you have it later, since you signed up right before the first deadline. There will be a second deadline, don't worry The other board recently got hacked and thus doesn't work for all people anymore. We are working on a solution to this and will give out the new URL when the new board is all set and the entries got copied from the old one. In the meantime, you can give any WIPs to me EDIT: Azar, Your WIP isn't half bad. Good ideas in there! That choir reminds me a bit of the chozo themes of the recent Metroid title's soundtracks. Some of the sounds were a bit out of place, but as you told, it's very rough. Don't worry too much about it, though. There are people that just joined this project, so the second WIP deadline will be MUCH more important than the first one! REMINDER: Only 4 days until the first WIP deadline!!

There is no specific genre for the song to take, but it should not be *too* strange or off of the original, but you got a lot of freedom. You don't need to send me audition material. If you feel confident enough, I can just sign you up for the mix and yeah, I'm looking forward to hear your first WIP! After you get your WIP, you are highly encouraged to post it on the private WIP forum of this project so every other person involved in this project can comment on it and give you suggestions. That's basically how things work here. It's not "my" project, it's everyone's, thus it's not my part to dictate what style or sounds to take, and there are enough talented people around here that are willing to help out on getting the best out of this album

1) Yes, keep the animation. I've already done a mix and Arek doesn't want it to be released on VGMix.com. And also I really like the idea of having animation in there.
