So Gamestamp just enacted the most asinine policy in my opinion that they have ever done to it's employees. We are now required to send out "Concierge Calls" to customers that show up in a database for random things, usually a game that was bought recently that has high trad in value. It's telemarketing. That is all it is. Corporate is telling us that we have to take time out of our already busy workday and bug people at home. We are only allowed to make the calls from 4 to 9, so that guarantees us to be bugging people during dinner. I already don't like badgering people in store for reserves and that stupid fucking card, now this?

Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam, right click on steam.exe, go to properties, goto compatability, click on change settings for all users. Unselect "run this program in compatability mode"

Brave New World changed up a lot of things for the better. It is definitely worth picking up if you like Civ 5.

You so obviously do think that they are better than the other two. Don't kid a kidder. I am not butthurt if Big N picks up Atlus, I am worried about the quality of games that Atlus will produce if such a thing where to occur. Big N has made several bad decisions since they were not able to replicate the rampant success that the Wii had with it's gimmick. Rated Everyone 10+ I am not saying that is what is going to happen. I, and you know too Mirbs, that the Big N likes to stay away from M Rated games. They have published them in the past. Look at Eternal Darkness. Published by Nintendo, Rated M, Fantastic. But the acquisition of Atlus would/could jeopardize the great games and etablished franchises that Atlus has given us.

Atlus is a good company, but what is to stop Nintendo from kid-friendedly nerfing Atlus's more adult offerings like the Persona series?

Crafting badges gets you coupons for games. You know, in normal not Steam Sales.

I rebuy a lot of games I own/owned on consoles, for a better experience. Plus, those are prolly one of my favorite games from the previous console cycle. Examples are Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, Oblivion, Skyrim, Mass Effect Trilogy, Far Cry 3, Castle Crashers, Bioshock Infinite, Left 4 Dead, Mirror's Edge, Saints Row 3, All of the Splinter Cell's to date, and You Dont Know Jack.

I have worked/currently work at Gamestamp. The reason preorders and all that other crap is pushed for so hard is because that is how Gamestamp gets hours for employees to work. We have to maintain a certain level of preorders, and those cards to be able to get hours. The reasoning behind your points is as follows: 1. Pre-owned games is pure profit for Gamestamp. 2. See point number one. 3. Most Gamestamps keep those copies/cases in good order, and I personally never hesitate to give a discount for damaged cases. Most managers are supportive of me in that regards. 4. This is completely untrue. While yes we do get to take home and play games, however corporate states 30 days minimum it must be in store to take home and try. Most stores shorten it to two weeks. 5. See above the quoted text. 6. There are certain stores that price match when flyers are involved. Overall, as someone whom has been on both sides of the fence, Gamestamp is terrible for us actual gamers. However many of Gamestamp's customers are moms. Moms that have no idea what the fuck they are doing, buying something for their snot nosed piece of shit child that also has no idea what they are doing. If you have brain cells, dont shop there. If you dont, by all means, pickup a Power Up Pro Rewards card. 15 bucks get you a year subscription to Game Informer, 10% more trade in value, 10% off all pre-owned games and accessories, and you earn double points on everything you buy in the store. Did you preorder Grand Theft Auto 5 for your 5 year old child? You prolly should, seeing as he won't love you if you dont.

I am not suggesting that Ubisoft drop support. They ARE doing it. Also, flawed logic. Saying that we should put the Xbox One and PS4 on that listing is dumb because they aren't out yet. WiiU IS out. It has been out for quite some time. They created the exclusives with/for Nintendo under the expectation that the system would return some of their efforts (mostly with money, you can't turn in a good metacritic score for store credit at your local Publix). The consumer base has ignored the WiiU. They continue to do so. When you have big box publishers jumping ship, and EA and Ubi are two of the biggest, what is to stop the smaller publishers from following suite. They see the WiiU as toxic for their pockets. And they will pass those savings on the consumers.

Denial sure is strong man. Ubisoft took a gamble on the WiiU and lost. Despite the well received nature of ZombiU, the consumers ultimately arent backing the WiiU. That could very well change, but the outlook is still bleak.

Ubisoft released a breakdown of sales by system. I'd say they are justified in not making exclusives for the WiiU anymore.
