I can see how that would work, but I've never seen this artwork, and I'm going off of the ingame explanation of how it works. I don't remember it saying anywhere that it actually fires projectiles; Squall's gunblades at any rate. I am aware that Seifer's gunblades do fire projectiles, however. edit: actually, now that I think about it, this difference was detailed ingame (I think, it's been a few years since I played it and my discs are screwed up now)
