I really love this remix! It's more "tribal" then the original, thus making it better overall... The STOMP feeling it has is just stellar work. Great job, keep em coming!

Great Remix, it brings back some great Vampire Slaying memories... Well anyhoo, the overall melody is very well done, with that "distant" feeling it has giving the idea that the tune is being played in a large, abandoned castle ball room, house to a now dead boss (Dracula?)...But i digress, that feeling really complements the overall tune and it seems that the room gets more and more enemies as the tempo picks up, and soon there is a full fledged battle going on, ending with a boss duel (vampire killer). Great tune, fits the CV style completly. Albeit a little short (i want more!!) there is no complaint i have about it! Keep up the Good Work

Well lets think about it... Do you have any remix on OCR? No. i take it from that that you are not experienced in the realm of top-amateur/professional remixing like the remixers that are allowed to post in OCR. Also, DJPretzel decides is the Remix is on or out, so if it is in, even if he says it has some faults or whatever, it is still very good, period. Also Chthonic has several great remixes on OCR, meaning he has some experience in these matters, so any remix that he get to OCR, even if it is not his best, is GUARENTEED to not be just "any trance sh*t" like you so crudely said. Also, just the fact that you insulted the remix like that instead of a giving better opinion instantaniously makes your opinion one with a lot less impact then it could have been. Finally, i have little to none knowledge in making remixes, so my opinion was: 1- Not a techinical one, as i have not much experience 2- And it was not a serious option as the Zero Wing reference clearly states. Well that Mp3 recording thing might be tough because...i-i...i'm...a-a a COMPUTER AUDIO NOOB!! alright i admit it im a audio newb! i dont know anything about recording, remixing and actually i know very little of the technical stuff in music!! lol...oh well thats the reason i cant do any recording of audio files in my PC or getting my voice clip into an mp3 file... Im lucky to be able to handle my iPod...i dont even know how do burn a damn CD! Anyhoo, i'd really like it Rayza n' pixie (and aurora i guess ) if you did it... besides, it would be getting a person into OCR and thats your ultimate goal... Thanks for reading!

Yeah, i like this mix!! It has sorta has a undergroundy-shady feeling for me, i really dont know why... hehe. It doesnt stick to the original much which is a good thing and the trumpets are really great. My only problem with it is that once it get into that main part where it plays the Lost Woods tune from Lttp over and over again with the trumpets it feels like it pretty much the same for the rest of the remix, which is good because the instrumental and rythmic part is VERY well done, it really gives that R n' B feeling to it, but its bad at the same time because it get a bit too repetitive there. Anyway it's an overall great remix and truly Zelda worthy! I really like the voice choir that is heard lightly on the background for the first time at 1´53´´ and really enhances that Zelda feeling because it evokes the Temple of Time/Master Sword get! background choir. Nicely done, get to be in my iPod! Along with DJpretzel with his Bubble Bobble mix and this weeks VGDJ and also sever McVaffe tunes! Yay!

Oh, that makes sense... Thanks a lot for answering Rayza... I see now, i wasn't aware of all those points you said and 15-20 mins music actually IS a lot for a 30-40 min show. Oh well, i guess my suggestions phailed, but at least i got a well fundamented "reject" of those reviews and that is enough to make me happy! at least it was good to clear stuff up for upcoming people that try to make more suggestions ! One more thing... Could you do something about this: Just wondering... i'd like to show THAT to my friend and it will probably get him to listen to VGDJ... i've tried to convince him to come to the site, saying how great it is but he says he doesnt think its as great as i tell him... Well, you guys mentioning my name (and even his: Barroca) will DEFINITLY get him here hehe *hatches evil scheme*

I was actually talking more to Rayza Although i think you guys talking is fun because i know the community and the site, i just think that outsiders to the site wouldn't find it very appealing. No offense "anyhoo" i think more music would actually get more people to OCRemix! i mean think about it... If i were a newcomer i'd like more music on the show, THAT would make me come to OCR looking for my fave game or other things... Just an advice... And of course, a review on VGDJ sounds a lot more official you know? Here is an idea, you could ask DJpretzel to tape a audioclip review of the 2 tunes of the week and get his review on the show! Make it more official sounding: "and now the creator of OCR will tell us what he thought of the tune you just heard! am i glad hes not a lazy butt!!" And also, you could put the 2 weekly tunes closer to the end of the show and dangle the promise of it during the show like this: "dont forget we have our two chosen tunes along with DJP's review of them (or your own, your opinion counts too ) coming up at the end of the show so keep listening...and now Rayza is gonna tell us about HIS bathroom! (or something interestig like that to keep the flow of the show going)" Well dont forget these are just suggestions from me, and i think the show is great, im not saying its bad its just some advice...Because i think that we (the community) being able to interact with the show and try to give suggestions to make it even better is what makes this Podcast so much fun! its a lot more interactive then a normal radioshow!! Well i hope you had the patience to read all of THAT! One more request:(and this is a personal request, not a suggestion...) Could you, if you adapt any of my ideas, mention my username (linkman25) during the next weeks show? i'd like to show it to my friend so he will freak out hehe...Oh, you could even do it if you didnt apply the changes to the show!! like this: "well this week at the forums, Linkman25 made some great suggestions for our show...unfortunatly we couldent apply any of them, but he doesnt take offense...hes a pretty cool guy!" Hey, man thanks for answering. I have iTunes but i'm a Podcast newb so i was just checking but i guess the update is automatic I have a couple of suggestions: 1-Instead of just playing a bit of the two new chosen remixes every week, you could play all of it! Also instead of simply playing one of the songs in Russian Roulette you could play 2 or 3! or go crazy and play all 6! I just think more music would really improve the 'cast (short for podcast )! After all it is about a music site! 2- I think both of you should give a "review" of the 2 tunes chosen, instruments, sequences, the overall melody and how it differs from the original, whatever! This would make the two chosen tunes part a lot more consistent! I think these ideas improve the show, but if you dont wanna do them, then, you are a big "lazy butt!!" Hehe, just kidding Keep up the good work!!

Hey there! I'm new on the forums, but i have been coming to the site for a while. I'd like to say that I have recently gotten an iPod, and the idea of Podcasting was very apealing so what was the first i tried? Good ol' VGDJ! I like to say it is an excelent work, very well done. I think a Podcast-y newsletter on OCRemix is a great idea an i'd like to congratulate Rayza, Aurora and recently Pixietricks (i have listened to their remixes before i just didnt know they were big enough on the community to make a Podcast ) on the excelent work they have done. I have only listened to nº 17, but ill be listening yours soon Aurora hehe. And before i go just two things: 1-Which weekday is the new eps. released? 2-Pixietricks you have a great singing and radio voice!! Your work on Prayer is amazing (thats you singing right?) Congratulations
