I love how I finished my track ages ago and it didn't even get on this album. No more project invites for me please.

LINK UPDATED. So I played around some more with the melody, both in sound and in structure, and added some more pieces to the remix. I'm getting a little closer to the sound I'm looking for, but I know I'm not there yet. There is a lot of instrument, note, and production tweeking to be made, but hopefully I'm on the right track.

I see what you mean about the main melody. Actually, it was more of a throw in for people to get an idea how the song's suppose to be heading. But, as always, I value you opinion and I'll definitely see what I can do to fix that.

I started a remix of this battle theme from the game Skies of Arcadia. I plan on making it a classical/trance hybrid, but I'd love to hear any suggestions on how to improve. Thank you much! I know when I listen to an uncompleted melody, it drives me nuts if some form of the source isn't in there. I do plan on correcting the melody and leaving it there where it's introduced in this version, unless you guys find it unacceptable.

Not much I'm afraid... You wouldn't mind helping me out here. This sounds like a ballad from the 60s, what I'm trying t make is more modern... I get it, more drums. I guess I can do that. Any other suggestions?

Oh... I've been taking my cue from Disney's ballads actually... Most of them don't even have drums in them... I'll see what I can do as far as female/male responses. That's actually a pretty good idea considering the lyrics so far. Which is the story that the ballad tells: It's actually the Sonic versus Amy conflict, except at the end they get together. She likes him, but he doesn't really feel that way about her. He does care about her, and in the end forms feeling for her. Not much of a story, but hey, it keeps with that small part of the Sonic Adventure storyline.

Wow, thanks for the awesome feedback. I know this song isn't anywhere near OCR ready, but you comments make me believe I'm on the right path. EDIT: Just listened to Vega's Ballad. I dunno, I thought ballads were suppose to be slow. This is more like an R&B track without vocals... But that's just IMO... Also, lyrics are well on their way. The female vocalist also needs to find a day off so that she can record too >_>

It's in the early stages so it doesn't have a lot and production will improve too. Also, lyrics are being made as we speak, so no vocals yet and no arrangement title either. Just for FYI, the oboe is the female part and the bassoon is the male part. Those will disappear when vocals replace them. I figure getting an early WIP in and getting some feedback would help me before I get too into and have to change the whole song. Tell me what you think!

Hmm... I'm working on a couple freeware games. I was planning on being my own composer but I might be able to squeeze someone else on board.

I'd prefer as mentioned before a REAL Pokemon RPG, you know, deep storyline, with romance and whatever, not just a generic story about a kid who goes to all the gyms, and the league, and catches all Pokemon, The End.

Well, it's time to close the recruitment. We still have no word from 2 of our arrangers, which is sad...
