Voted! After a long time pondering I finally managed to get my possible 8 honourable mentions down to 4. It was a very hard choice. The entries for this round were of a very high standard. Well done everyone! Unfortunately I did actually complete an entry for this before the deadline but was hit by the flu a day before and didn't manage to submit my entry.

I will pledge my vote now. There, I've said it! Now if I don't keep this promise, God help me, I'll put Maggie Thatcher in charge of the whole world. Then we'll see a bloody recession!

congrats congrats. commentary was ite except for a certain voter who commented on my DRUM N BASS entry as follows: "There are a lot of noisy parts in the song, not much else is in it". First of all - noisy... not very descriptive at the best of times, but travel through any major city and tell me it's not noisy. If you think this is noisy, try listening to bloody Stravinksy and sing the tune. Secondly.. apparently melody, harmony, structure, production etc. mean "not much else" lol. Also, are "dominating drums" meant to be a good thing? I would fkn well hope so in a drum n bass song. >< In other words, ridiculous critique. bah im slightly pissed - not wasted but maybe could have phrased this post better. id just like to point out that when i say pissed im talkin about the proper british meaning and not the american one meaning "pissed off".

I was assigned Mega Man X2 - X-Hunter Stage 1 and X-Hunter Stage 2 (two separate tracks on the OST). Would it be possible for me to remix X-Hunter Stage 1 only? I'm rapidly running out of time and feel I could knock out a better remix of Stage 1 on its own.
