While you're on the subject, Abe, whats the deal with Sloprano? Are you doing the voice and music, or just the voice, or what? Up to you if you want to do it at all, but it would be so sick... Thinking about the rock-change, maybe we could do something with that. I mean, it already has lyrics. And the idea of death-metal teris or something along those lines is getting me excited. What about the Sim City guy, too? Man, that was so funny! You know when Rock n Roll band members get old, and look like just regular people? Heehee... We can't give up on this. I love spambots. It'd be cool to start seeing games you can buy completely online, but there's a pride that comes with being able to stack up boxes, and show them off like that. But it's the future of consoles that worry me the most. Yeah, we can acheive amazing graphics. And today, with online play, motion controls, and services that aren't even game-related, consoles are doing more than ever. But where do we go from here? Virtual Reality has always worried me, I have a general distrust towards that technology. Partly from fear. If we hit that, then we'll have truly fufilled the goals set by so many dreamers years ago. But... then what? I mean, there's literally nothing left. A scary thought. Wii Question: If I want to convert a video to play it off of my SD card on my wii, what should I set it as? I know it needs to be .mov, with a resolution smaller than 848x480, but what specific settings does it need? Hope someone knows...

Rock probably, if you use the main theme, and the selecting a player theme. Throw in a small bit of original content and viola, a mix. If I ever get a chance to mix anything, that's where I'm going first. That or Serenade of Water and Zora's Domain.

Got them all up in my head, but I can't mix for the life of me... - Zora's Domain / Serenade of Water in a muzak, Chuck Mangione "Feels So Good" kind of way - Rock version of Waverace 64, and several of it's themes - Mariachi version of Katamari's main theme, if it hasn't been done already. I haven't checked out M+MK yet 'cause I don't have a psp, and haven't gotten the soundtrack. Can't sing either, and finding someone who could sing in spanish might help... They're not so bad ideas. I can only hope no one steals them. When I have more time, in the summer, most likely. Expect something from me, I promise that. (I'll let you know when you need to start covering your ears and running for the hills)

Hey, Pi here. Uhh.... I'm running a Boss-Battle themed project. Just so-ya-know, we just shifted gears from a wider range of genres into more rock-oriented content. Yeah... But I would abso-fucking-lutely kill for some ragtime, Big Band, or Jazz stuff. Roaring 20's, so on and so forth. Harlem Renaissance, etc...

It's kinda funny how this turned out exactly as I said it would. Two supporters, and a pre-existing mix. Still vouching for one, though.

I like the word 'if'. World of possibility. Word of possibilities. Hehehe.. it wouldn't take much for your current WIP to meet what I have in mind. Just "Throwing in a Guitar" wouldn't exactly count as a suggestion, but I can see one fitting in nicely, and still keeping close to what you already have. If no one's asked for Stemage's (Metroid Metal guy, again. OCR name is GrantHenry) help, give that a shot. We have a few Guitarists on the front page, as well. I hope you don't drop, what you have so far has some great potential. But there's a while I can wait to see things develop. On both subjects: - I'll hold off on a new deadline for now. I've been nuts with school like everyone else. Search for good artists till Mid-May, then we can progress. - I've asked GrantHenry if he had anyone contact him yet, no response yet. Either he's busy, or forgot he has an ocr account. He seemed to be way more into polishing everything the closer we get to finishing, so I'll just ask when the time comes. Otherwise, try to use the other guitarists on the list, yeah? Avaris, I'll go check out that Wynd guy right now.

Oh yeah, I know... but it doesn't mean hanging on to those people who haven't said a word since the start of the project. The project won't fail becuase of the artists, no it won't. There are people like you, The Joker, rpggamer180, who even can just pop in every once in a while to let me know "Even if I'm not working now, I'll be soon." I won't drop you. I'll save that spot on the front page 'till you can get around to working. In ~3 months, this project will be a year old. I'm astounded. I have no problem waiting longer to find the team that will finsih with me. Some of them are here. Some people who are here won't be when that time comes. I appreciate the support they gave when they first gave things a try, but if they can't do it, it's not the end of the world. It's up to them, not me.

We need another video like the first Brawl one. A few old characters, and introducing a few new ones. I could go for a few shots of updated Melee characters. And more revealing new gameplay devices and items, too. I'm still vouching for my masks idea. And the different "costumes" for each character. 8-bit Mario, 16-bit Mario, N64-Mario, Paper Mario, and current Mario, all with the same stats, all technically the same character. They just "look" different. Adds some options to the game, it's one of those "little things" that makes the game interesting.

Perhaps that was worded a bit too strongly. Let me put it this way: I don't want to replace the whole team. That's the last thing I want. But participants who say they have time to donate to the project and then ignore it can't really be trusted to put all they can into it inthe future. Easpeccialy if they don't even show to point out they're still around. You've made every due date. That's good. I understand not everone can do what is asked of them, and accomadations will (and have) been made. I'm sorry for any miscommunication on my part. If anyone has any issues with a due date, or making schedule, or showing for a few weeks, just tell me. I'll do what I can do. Being the coordinator of this project, there's a lot I can do. I know every project hits it's slow points. This one has had a few. But when some artists are making the date, and others are a total no-show, and don't respond to contact, they're off. Let me put it this way: Odds are, if you're reading this, you're safe. At least it means you're around.

Ppppbbbthhhh.... Yeah. Don't think we're not looking for other artists. And take my word for it, I'm (We're, I assume) not/aren't afraid to dump this whole team in favor of reliable, better artists. Especially considering how slow things have been going lately. - Second note: If you know of any "Rock" artists, be they actual guitarists, or just someone good with a program, send them our way. Or rather, a much better idea, PM me. Either/Or, really. That goes for mixers and just regular forum-goers. If you know someone, hook us up, don't leave us hanging here, man... For everyone - Hey, rock isn't a bad shift, right? It tightens focus, and giving the album one unified sound's better then a mish-mosh of different styles. I mean, I was originally worried that it might alienate artists already on the project who don't "do" rock, but it looks like most, if not nearly all of the artists are going to be replaced, well, it doesn't really look like that's a big worry, does it... *Sigh*... Seriously. If I have to, every current artist can be dropped. I don't hope for it. I really don't. But what needs to be done will be. Take my word for it.

Aaaaaaaaaand..... No one cares anymore? Ah, jeez. It never gets easier, not even a little bit. In an effort to spark up some renewed interest, anyone interested in doing a bit of art can PM me. If gts is doing the album art + w/e, maybe we could get others, and if I remember, there were a few instances of people saying they could help. By "help", I don't mean give a stab at it. I mean, if you have some art skill, no shots in the dark. Send me a PM with a request, first-come first serve. I'll dish out projects based on what I think you'll be good at. That means sending prior work for me to take a look at, too. I want to see the end results of experience here, not some n00b attempt at learning how to draw a straight line. There are only a few things I can give out, so hurry it up if you want a spot.

So, Vagrance can't keep up? No problem. You gave it your best shot, and at least you're going gracefully instead of just not showing up for months, then letting me prune you off the project. Let's just hope someone picks it up. The renewed interest in Sephiroth is nice to see. Just remember to try not to focus on 1WA, as we've all gone over before. Everybody: This will be easier if everyone does it, so a big thing doesnt need to rest on only a few people. SCOUT! Now, I for example, brought ourselves attention to Stemage, from MM, for example. So, as to bump this thread, might I bring up a request? Lets get back to characters we want to see, or something like that. Diddy Kong - With Peanut Gun (and Jetpack?). Hate to see him as a DK clone. Bomberman - With a history full of nintendo games, I can't see why not. Bombs away, and so on, and so forth... Jack - Not everyone will get this one. Harvest Moon. Another series with a Nintendo-laden back-catalog. I mean, C'mon, he's got pickaxes, hammers, scythes... Krystal - From Starfox, with her magic staff. Megaman - As long as he isn't a Samus clone, I'll be satisfied. Crono - I can only pray Banjo-Kazooie - I can only pray harder ... I've got a few more I can't remember right now. Thoughts? Who do you want to see? On another note, it's been months. Does anyone know what they're saying in "A Main Theme With Emotion" yet? It's latin, so we would just need someone to translate ...right?

What I was getting at, pretty much. But when the genres get too far out, it's hard to fit it all on one album. It needs to sound nice. EDIT: Hey, stemage from MetalMetroid wrote back, so, thats good news. As follows: While I'd actually like a track from him, any kind of help would be every kind of awesome. OK, I've been thinking. I'm not gonna whine, "I don't want to, but if I need to...", because I'd rather have this project take another year, than have to deal with certain kinds of people. If you sign on, at least make an effort to keep up. You aren't "off the project", so to speak, but I'll be removing you from the front page. Either get a something in, or your spot gets stolen by a new artist. And don't think we aren't looking around for others to call in, too. I would post Abadoss and Rexy, but they at least said why, or rather, even showed around here. They get my leniency. Now, looks like I'll re-do this for a, what, third time? Re-focusing the project, although I don't really want to. I was thinking about it, and came to a conclusion. Having rock, techno, orch, etc. is a bit too wide for a project to sound good all put on one album. So from now on, even though I know it'll really mess things up, just try to focus more on rock. If you already have stuff done, don't worry about it. I just would rather have things cleaner. Thing about something like what Metroid Metal did for Metroid. It's an easier-to-reach goal, and a rock album would sound nicer than one with one with wildly differing tracks. Ech, messy. So: Off the project = temporary, if you get something in New genre = Rock, but if you have something done, don't be afraid to get it in Metroid Metal = I just got a real good idea. I'll be contacting someone...

I was gonna make a joke of Super Metroid, something with the metroid that thinks your it's mother. Felt a dislike for the idea, scrapped it, still thinking of what to do...

Don't freak about it, leep. You're farther than anyone. It's just the little details, unless we agree on balancing between the different parts. Lemme say, its like, you're original versions were more... colorful? Dunno how to describe it. Just do your best.
