Assume that Pokemon develop slowly in "real life". The stage in between a Charmeleon and Charizard would include the horn splitting in two, the wings developing, and growth in size (Yes, I'm a freak.). Maybe this would be that in-between stage? Kabutops are living fossils, and extremely rare, so I doubt one would be battling a Charzameleon (?) naturally in the wild. Still, Freakin' AWESOME... *Ahem* Now, I said I'd be making badges, but here's something I've been working on as well: It's the pokecenter/mart before the elite 4 in fl/lg. I think I plan on doing the whole game like this. Ignore the stripes and message, I'm running the trial at home. When I get it done, I'll render this at school and re-post it. And about those badges... well, they're in the works...

Believe me when I say anything, ANYTHING you mix from Golden Sun would make a bunch of people happy. Go, go mix! And if you do plan on doing something, I would recommend just the main menu theme as a lullaby of some kind. Not a weird, synth-y thing, either. I'm going to be completely honest here, I've fallen asleep to that tune more than once...

Look at the Tetris Attack competition. Or any netplay. Yeah, it is that easy. It just wouldn't have anything like Matchups based on rank.

What if Link somehow represses the evil temporarily, but fails in sealing it away, and his story is ignored by the legends? I see a very dark game there, with even more emotion than Majora's Mask. To know you only half-completed your duty... I like the idea of thinking that a character like the Gold Wolf in Twilight Princess was of a past Link who failed as a hero, and now lives on as a spirit to ensure success of future Links. Or not. Whatever. EDIT: Actually, that sounds bad after hearing myself read it back. It'd need fine tuning, but A Link who fails to fully complete his duties would make an interesting game, but it'd have to come way later in production, so it has a place to fit into the storyline somewhere. Forget the spirit thing, though.

Claymation? I've always been a fan. My uncle first showed me Wallace and Gromit when I was young, and it was really impressive to see something that unique.

Why wouldn't animations be allowed? If anything I think they'd get a whole tier of their own...

You're not the only one here that wants to hear more Golden Sun. Honestly, Sol Sanctum Guitar kicks ass, with so much emotion. But it's not enough alone. I've seen this game requested plenty of times, once by myself. Just stopping by to provide support, I suppose. Check it out, although atm you won't be able to hear any tracks...

Does it have to be drawn by hand/computer? My school has a machine that can carve anything out of wood, and recently I had the honor of being the first on to do anything with it. Here's a pic of it: It still needs to be painted, but whatever. I was going to do some other stuff next, but I guess I could do Gym Badges or something (Damn, I just ruined the surprise)

What you might want to do with this, which has big potential: Make "album art" for the most-remixed games on this site, like Chrono Trigger. Chrono Trigger wailing on guitar, everybody doing their own thing... whatever. My project, we're trying to get our album art like that. Magus is on guitar with Seph, Bowser's on drums, ganon=base, wily's on keyboard (Which is layed around the rim of the skulker), whatever... Hey, just a thought, for when this's done.

A simple question, I think, but I can't seem to find an answer. When I load a program, it accesses files. Is there any way to tell exactly what files that program reads to run?

Nah, everybody watch. Nintendo's gonna hit us with some huge shocker in the next game, and either mess everything up, or make everything extremely apparant and obvious. Or not. But this is what I like. Video games aren't just for playing. It's the discussion that goes into it that can keep fans interested in between games.

All multiplayer games will be online. All of them. And if Nintendo isn't doing it for the Wii, they'll modify all the past-gen games on the VC to have multiplayer, too. The XBox seems to have the brightest future. Microsoft's done an excellent job doing what they're doing, and I couldn't be more impressed with their success.

The Pokemon series might has a few themes that'd be great for Big Band. But I'm just asking out of fanboyism.
