  1. How could you not be? You joined 5 years ago...
  2. Nothing yet. Otherwise, we'd all be waiting in line already.
  3. ___________/ Mother-Brain (Char. Specific) __________/ \ Captain Falcon (Char. Rival) Samus Start __________\Master Hand (General Ending) I may have just killed this idea, but OMGWTFBBQ MOTHER BRAIN NPC BOSS! Of course, every character would have a developed path like this, with series specific, character specific, general endings, etc. Complete with redesigns of the character's home game. Brinstar sidescroller in 3D ftw. Original enemies, maybe, too. I'm going overboard, I should just shut up. But like I said, user-made ideas APPLIED by the player don't always turn out great. Thats why the programmers/designers were hired.
  4. Now, see, I like the idea of character specific branching. I'd have mentioned it, but none of my friends agreed, so I've stopped caring. Good to see someone else agrees.
  5. I'd like to see a huge version of adventure mode, where the levels blend into each other, with save points. Or maybe A branching adventure mode, with different paths to take through the game, with corresponding endings and rewards.
  6. Look at a cube. It's made of 6 2d squares. There's nothing in it. Game and Watch actually is 3D, but has a pseudo-2D appearance. A game like Paper Mario is a better example. For a character like a Paper Mario costume, the whole thing would be completely 2D. The only thing is that the developers would need to make a "Paper-Mario" sprite for EVERY SINGLE frame of animation he has. THAT's what might make things harder. Luckily, games like Paper Mario, or SMB, or SMB2 don't have animations in-between jumps, or leading into attacks, etc.. Although you can't forget that the memory needed for a single frame of animation for a jumping mario sprite is much smaller than animating a 3D model of one. The real problems would come up with making the 3D characters.
  7. Nah, I don't think so. How much space can a SMB2 Mario model take up? It's only two dimensions. Besides, most games don't even use up all the space on the disc provided. Is it so bad they push the limit? I'm not saying to get rid of Young Link. I'm just saying that LoZ Link, LttP Link, OoT Adult Link, and TP Link are all different people. For that matter, look at OoT Young Link, WW Link, and LA Link are all different people, too...
  8. Why not? Great music, for the parts that had any, anyway...
  9. I've always been nervous of posting here, I'm not a hardcore player. And I'm not about to go through a few hundred pages to see if it's already been mentioned, but I want to throw my idea in. Instead of new colorations, what about new costumes? Example: Mario, SMB Mario, SMB2 Mario, Paper Mario, N64 Mario, but they all have the same moves, weight, power, speed, etc., and are all represented by the same icon on the menu. Just like changing colors for team battles. Only thing is, Nintendo would need to re-sprite all the old characters for the new moves. Neato, if you ask me. And at least that'd get rid of people asking for variations of other characters. A character like fox would have every costum from every game he's been in. Unfortunatly, a character like Game+Watch would only have one costume, and would still need alt. colors. Also, Deku, Goron, and Zora masks as items, with new models for each character, for each transformation. Deku Pikachu, Goron Bowser, etc...
  10. Why wouldn't I? Even if you choose to do a different track (Which I don't mind, because I don't remember what the old one sounds like at all), a track's a track. Thankfully, our tracklist is dynamic (and right now, a mess), so whatever you two choose to do is OK.
  11. I need to point out a thread I made in project dscussion. Check it out.
  12. This is strange. I can't change the thread title. Anyone know why?
  13. I'm not signed up yet. But you can just leave me out anyway, unless nobody minds the laggiest game of Tetris attaxk they've ever played. When I made the comment, I had forgotten that my laptop is still busted, and I would have to play on dial-up. By the next tournament, I'll be up and running again.
  14. Alright guys. Going on a trip, wont be back till Monday. No internet access either. Kanjika and Cataract, or Arachnid, or whatever his name is now is in charge. Don't muck things up too much.
  15. Dum kit? I'll say so! You don't need live guitars, but it would be nice by that time. We have other artists that can do live instruments, if you're not sure he'll show.
  16. No, I've heard some guys that don't shut up. Gah!
  17. Ashamed to admit it, but I have a pretty kick-ass Pokemon deck sitting in my room with cards from older and newer series. I haven't gotten to use it, though, because official tournaments don't allow cards from some older sets. *Sigh...* one day, one day.
  18. Hopefully, people won't ignore my last post, and instead ignore the fact that this is a double-post. I decided if I'm going to put the whole "my-idea-first" schtick behind me, I'm going to overcompensate by helping out like nobody's fucking business. Not the best, but all you have so far, right? I left room for a name, which we don't have yet. I figure something simple and obvious like "OCR Gaming League" should cover it, but thats not up to me (grr...). I knew I said I wanted to see Mario Kart in the future, and Street Fighter should be on everyone's lists, too. Of course, you could just replace Ryu with someone/something else easy. Up to everyone what to do. Nice, yes?
  19. linkspast and I just played a very laggy round. Does anyone know what settings to use to get the lowest system requirements possible?
  20. No, but I didn't see anyone else starting one until I suggested it, and I stepped forward to lead it. In fact, it took two posts for anyone to even provide any recognition I mentioned it at all. Shows how willing everyone was to join. Is it my fault for holding back a day or two? yes, but that's rhetorical. Don't answer it.. I was making sure I had everything set. While there were people around more suited to running the it, I didn't see them starting anything back up before this came around. Look, I don't want any hard feelings. Some recognition is all I ask. EDIT: And... sign me up.... [/ashamed]
  21. For a personal project, if someone could, I'd appreciate a looping underworld theme from the first Zelda, with guitar and bass. Think Metroid Metal, but Zelda, and looping. It doesn't have to be live instruments, it just has to sound good. Improvisation is up to the mixer, but for the most part, stay true to the original. This isn't for a remix unless you choose to continue it after it's done. Thats up to whoever picks this up.
  22. Good idea, there. In fact, just a kirby-katamari would be something interesting. Being rolled by a prince/kirby. Being watched by a King-of-all-Cosmos Kirby
  23. I don't know, and frankly, I don't care. All I know is I had this in the planning, and was just working the kinks out so, not only would it work for me, but I could answer any questions that came up, so I had some experience. Now, not only did I have it stolen from me, but I can say I'm a little offended that there are people on the first forum that knew I had it planned, that went ahead and joined this anyway.
  24. What the hell, man? I thought I was in charge of this? Grr... Ah, oh well. Can I at least be awarded some sort of co-administrative position?
