Uh... did someone change our thread name? Ok, well, anyway, about the deadline, and WIPs... We're gonna deal with this the same way we did for the last WIP date. For those of you who weren't here last time, here's how things go down: If you got a WIP in, good for you. If you didn't (yet) you still have the chance to. But if someone else turns a quality WIP in first, well, you lost the track. Give me awhile to look around and I'll post a list of who has submitted a WIP so far. EDIT: Anyone who wants to work on art/web design, check the thread on our forums. And PM me. EDIT2: Everybody, just ignore the first post, and the track list for now. It's always been a mess. I'll fix it as soon as I can.

GIVE ME MY PIT Seriously, I could go for some news, or a new character. Actually, something that's had an interesting absence: New items. All we know about is a puppy. Good job, Nintendo, a puppy. And, hey, how's that supposed to make the game more fair for one character? Speaking of which, an interesting question regarding the "super smash" attacks, or whatever they're being called. Think they'll be shut off for tournament play? Oh noes, no fair! My characters slower, so I couldn't reach it before you!

Ninja, I got a good video, non-photorealisticly rendered, too. Know anywhere I can upload it by tommorow? Otherwise... looks like I'm limited to a picture. Not the worst thing possible, but a video's still better.

Well, in soccer, if you get blown up, good luck using your legs again. In Smash Bros, its just a matter of either playing real good till a healing item show up. EDIT: Or learn to recover from far hits

Well, yeah. But it's not like every time you start a game, the amp is re-arranged, either. Items can throw a curve that adds the need for adaptation. If a Marth player is given a ray gun, and the opponent is a serious enough player to give a crap, he also should care enough to have trained to the point that it doesn't matter what the enemy has. 'sides, he could always just run to the other side of Hyrule Castle.

That's the problem. There's people that want to have fun when playing (the way it's supposed to be), and people who take things seriously enough to study the game bit-by-bit, until they've mastered a character or two, without the use of items, on Hyrule Castle. Granted, there are exceptions, but, c'mon, it's just no fun to play against someone who takes it that seriously, EDIT: Unless you train enough to get that good yourself, that is.

Atmuh, considering my entry is a 3D model, should I take one good render that shows off as much as I can, or get several shots from the best angles I can find?

Just... "Badness". Make the bosses cool. The villain you love to hate, but who's side you'd join in an instant. Express that around those genres. If you miss the deadline, and someone else gets a WIP in before you, you lose it. But if you get it in first, even late, it's still yours. Man, flashbacks. Every time I go over a friend's house, its the same thing. Hyrule Castle (Or final destination), no items, and everyone picks Marth, or Roy, or whoever. I keep telling them, if they wanted you to play on the same level all the time, they wouldn't have put any others in the game. If they didn't want you to use items, they wouldn't have included any. I have to convince them to sneak in matches with random characters and levels just to get some fairness. Jeez, they just don't get it. The game stops being fun when you can't play just because your friends want the level they're best on, with the character they're best on, with their favorite settings.

A though: -Games can be saved to the SD card. -The SD card can be accessed by a computer. If any SD card can be read by any Wii... get my point? Could game saves, like 100% completion, be traded around online? Like, lets say I don't have all the trucks in Excite Truck, because I can't get the hang of on or two levels. Could I get a save from someone who does?

Turns out I dont have the time to cut those badges out, but I still have the 3D models, if thats anything. And that Pokecenter. ...Not sure if they're "art"... whatever. I'll post them when I'm done. Soon.

Well, the tetris theme is actually a russian folk song, "Korobeiniki". Post back if you find anything, I'd be interested in it myself. [The Wikipedia page].

A music channel? CDs, SD cards, and online radio. That'd beat the crap out of having to use the Photo Channel, and its another bit more you can do with the thing. 'Course, you could always use a stereo. Or computer. Or Cd Player. Or 360, ps3, ps2, ps1, xbox, or pretty much anything that can read discs. But thats the point. Nintendo didn't include DVD playback because it'd cost more, and you already have a few for sure. But if something can do something, theres no reason it shouldn't.

Priority is Album Art (covered, mostly), followed by website, wallpaper/misc., followed by extra/bonus. ...Optimistically. Sure, we could devide it between artists, but its all about flow. Example: Th album art and website should be stylistically similar, but different styles for most of the other stuff could be encouraged. "but there are more that are willing to lend their abilities" ...others you say? Why, has anyone volunteered or anything?

Smash Tournaments on TV can't be all that bad. You don't like it, don't watch it. But I don't see the harm. I think it's great we have stuff to choose from, and bringing video games further into mainstream entertainment can only bring more support for the cause. Not that they really need it, but there's a "cool" factor to be able to flip channels and find Smash Bros playing in between other shows. Or Halo. Or anything for that matter. Although in regards to flipping channels and finding SSBM/B playing, we could already do that on the Wii...
