  1. Thanx! Already sent it, and it's a mighty good one IMO. Will be a bonus entry.
  2. "The trancey part is also nice, but the switch to the hard trance part (which I like) is a bit too long." Trancey? That's pure muddafukking metal! Ok, I'll give up using lame vst guitars now on... Thx y'all, really nice round! Don't have a clue on what next source will be, but I'll try making it really cheesy.
  3. Rexy wants YOU to vote Do it now, and vote for me.
  4. I couldn't make up my mind which style this would be in, so I took 'em all!
  5. Ok, last version I think! Version 3 at http://www.freewebs.com/fboneup/ Added a little more bells, distorted the bassdrum (actually sounds more like HHC, also an improvement). A little less bass too.
  6. I understand that, but I'm a lot at the biggest forum in Sweden, and it's kind of strange to see people here complaining about prizes They would nearly be laughed at in our forum. Sad but true. To clarify, I'm absolutely not a big advocate of piracy!
  7. I've seen it many times; people complaining about programs/plugins etc is too expensive. I'm from Sweden, the home of Pirate Bay, and none of my friends would even think of paying for music or software as long as it can be found pirated. I know what your answers will be like "you have to pay the people that made it!", but isn't there anyone that can confess that you download it instead? Don't you do it or is it too much of a taboo to speak of it? I don't know which country the OCR servers are in, but would it actually be illegal to link to eg. a torrent?
  8. Oh, how I would've loved if you would've made like House out of this! Think Olav Basoski - Waterman. Beside that, this is great so far! Very high quality, nothing bad to say about the mastering or instruments, very pro. The bass is really awesome. Haven't heard the source actually... The intro sounds like Tekken music, and the whole song gets kind of mellow. If you could find a nice hook further on, and maybe heavier guitars, this would definitely rock ass.
  9. Ah, this is nice. The improvements were just the right ones, though I would've liked a (hi quality) low male choir somewhere. I suck at programming drums, you don't, but I would rather like them to sound like this Contra remix: http://www.ocremix.org/remix/OCR01355/ Somehow I think it still feels empty, I would want a strong hook, but with that source I realise it's hard. It got a synthish feeling, especially the bass and high synth, and I think some synthish vocals, electro drums and like 10 bpm less would make it complete. Hmm... might be a reason why i don't review very much But well done, especially with that short source!
  10. Ok, a new version, the link is here: http://www.freewebs.com/fboneup/ Haven't changed that much. It's louder, new piano (in tune), and the clap is more gently. The bassdrum is as it was though, the booming HHC-bassdrums is to weak I think.
  11. Yes, I'm aware of that... The limiter made it, and I'll try doing something about it. MadTracker 2 is technically as, IMO, good as any other program so that's not the problem. You mean the piano right? Gonna check it out Ok, it's that fill and the bassdrum fx you mean? Can't listen to it atm, but I don't think I used more than those, but possibly too much. Kiitos! A few months que O_o
  12. It's supposed to be Happy Hardcore, and thus it's supposed to be 4-beat, mechanical and simple... but I see what you mean. It's kind of hard to humanize stuff in a tracker, but I'll see what I can do. Thx ya'll for the comments.
  13. I've always wanted to do this one! http://www.tindeck.com/audio/my/fkqc/OneUp---Lemmings---Dig-This- Tried to get it to sound as the good old mid-90s Happy Hardcore, but with better synths. I could work more on the marching part, but what do you think this far? I think the right name of the original song is Just Dig, but which console is it from? EDIT: Here's the source: http://www.page-online.nl/midifreak/games/PC/Lemmings_-_Just_Dig.mid EDIT: Version 2 is found here: http://www.freewebs.com/fboneup/
  14. Didn't realize you had to accept it... I accept mine, Metal Gear Solid, though I think the source is quite boring, and lacks a proper midi. I have great idea though.
  15. OMG! Three with the same score in first place How will Rexy handle this? How about the one with most 1st place votes?
  16. Game: Mario & Luigi: Partners In Time Consol: Nintendo DS Source: Thwomp Volcano: Exterior midi Love this game, the 1337 Hammer Brothers(?) might be the funniest bad guys ever!
  17. I really don't want a source without a midi... if I get one, I'm not sure if I will make it, unless it's REALLY easy to make out the notes. I have no education in music making, and has no idea how to even properly make a chord So please, make a simple midi of your own if you can.
  18. With this I won won PRC109 (yeah yeah, only 2 contestants, but still I FUCKING ROCK!) OneUp - Duck You! I know it get's repete...petetetive, but is it worth working on?
  19. I don't really understand the whole thing, but I'm in! Do every participant get to choose a song or a game that another participant will remix? EDIT: Thx Oni-91. I see.
