I never had any leaning either way with the stats resetting or not. I just never heard any opposition to it the two times we talked about it in IRC.

Hm, I can't say that I have enough info about all of this, but incidental stickies at spawn are allowed (i.e. from chasing someone running back to spawn) - just not camping it out. If any further issues are seen, report all the details (such as through posts) and I'll see about it.

Reserved slot holders have a few admin abilities, such as voting alltalk and map changes through sourcemod, amongst other things. Full admin is handed out at my discretion though.

I'll alter respawn times for defense a little later today, now that there is no more custom server tabs.

There is a downside to removing crits though - you change the balance of the game, especially making the medic-heavy combo very powerful.

If I had heard of this from elsewhere, I would've just went there to find out about the news. There's a good reason some vg media won't ever use Kotaku as a source.

I've noticed in the past month or so that the server performance seemed a bit questionable, in terms of lagging issues. I've noticed at one time Darke jumping when spectating him while dead, so I had a strong suspicion that Gameservers.com's bandwidth is being strained (Darke uses FiOS). presh commented to me recently about something in particular being a problem, I forget what, but recommended that we should change the server asap to something with no such hiccups in performance. So after trying out Powerlord's vgmusic box, we went back to Gameservers for now, although I switched to their Atlanta location in hopes that the better ping I've gotten from there makes the problem better, although it doesn't seem like that's the case. I am still open to any suggestions for server hosting options in order to fix any problems if they currently exist.

They do give a crap cause they already upped the Spore install limit to 5 and announced so for Red Alert. And your comment is far more retarded because you're willing to fuck over everyone just for one game, when there are plenty of others that don't shit on you like SecuROM does. Problem is, you give the companies the impression that you'd possibly buy the game if it couldn't be pirated. The best solution to dealing with companies inserting DRM, or a particular kind, is to just not give any game with any of that crap any mindshare. That will give them the message pretty quickly.

Personally, I like Badwater a lot more. There's just a lot more angles for the attackers to go from, while Cave is pretty cluttered, making it terribly hard for soldiers and giving a lot of power to demos. I can add Cave back into the rotation if people want though.
