  1. Er, how long is this demo? You battled how many minibosses?

It's 3 missions long. There's a couple ummmmm things to fight that go down really easy.

And then there's ummmmmm this other thing (can't find the video of it) that goes down after about 5 megawatt hammers. It's that really big monster that takes up the whole street. I'll keep looking for a vid of it.

    EDIT: found it.

Skip to about 3:30 of this video.

  2. I just played through it (2.5 gigs) and I have to say that as someone who has beaten InFAMOUS 1 four times(2 of them 100% minus the blast shards) the game is phenomenal. The only couple things I have against it was the unlimited energy (obviously removed in full game) and that minibosses go down way too easy. I'm happy to report that the megawatt hammer is greatly improved. In the first game, a fully upgraded blast wouldn't even take out a normal member of the 1st sons.

Has anyone else had a chance to play through it yet?

  3. Wow. All these people saying how great FF8's soundtrack and I could never find a song I liked on it....except for "Attack on Dolet". You guys have managed to create an incredible song that I'm sure I'll be listening for a long, long time.

Except I only have 1 megabyte left on my 16Gig MP3 player. I'm sure I can find something to take off.

  4. Something's bothering me about it. It's definitely nice work, but the shoulders and the shape of the face/hair are making it look like a guy with tits. Is it just me who's seeing that?

I think you've just been watching too much anime. ("Guys look like girls, girls look like porn stars." See if anyone can guess that quote.)

  5. HAH! I bring you this newest Zero Punctuation!

    http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/zero-punctuation/3008-Pokemon-White

I laughed at the ending, and the thing about the bell is pretty accurate. But that tower had some cool music, so it evened out.

But his racism comment is something that even GameFAQs is done with... Come on, Yahtzee, you're using ancient 4chan /v/ jokes now?

Hey, he wasn't in this one either.

  6. He has never made a PSN account. Thats a part of his defense, actually. Guess you havn't followed

Why would he have a PSN account anyways if hes only interested in hacking linux on to it and/or running homebrew?

Sony, however, is lying and says he made 2, "Geo1Hotz" (obviously not him, his handle is "geohot", and this ID is not on any of the PS3s on his posession) and blickmaniac (obviously not him either) because one of the units he bought used has that ID registered on it.

Neither one of these has any of his contact information.

    Guess you haven't followed.

Hotz identified four PS3 Systems in his possession. Bricker Decl., ¶4, Exh. C. He explained that he had purchased one of these consoles new in February 2010 and provided the serial number for that console. Id. SCEA used that serial number to determine that on February 25, 2010, Hotz purchased the PS3 System at a Gamestop store just miles from his home. Law Decl., ¶6; Bricker Decl., ¶6, Exh. E. SCEA’s records show that the same PS3 System was used on March 10, 2010 to create a PSN account under the user name “blickmanic.

    you a pirate or something?

  7. Groklaw has been covering this, they have some good breakdowns of the important parts:

Here's something I found on that link.

A PSN account can be created by using the PS3 System or a personal computer. ln either case, a user creating a PSN account must provide the following information: a valid email address, date of birth, a unique username and password, the user's first and last name, a physical address, and the country in which the user lives. During the account creation process, whether the account is created using a personal computer or a PS3 console, the user is presented with the PlayStation Network Terms of Service and User Agreement ('PSN User Agreement") and required to either "accept" or udeny" the PSN User Agreement by clicking a corresponding button. The PSN User Agreement specifies that the user has entered a binding agreement with SCEA if he or she chooses to accept it. The PSN User Agreement requires that users "submit to personal jurisdiction in California and further agree that any dispute arising from or relating to this Agreement shall be brought in a court within San Mateo County, California." During the PSN account registration process using a personal computer, there is an email address authentication step in which the user must open an email sent from the PSN to the email address given by the user and then click on a link in order to complete the process.

If Sony sees his name on that PSN ID, than I don't see what kind of defense George Hotz has.

  8. I DO NOT LIKE SONY. AT ALL. They ruined Sonic Heroes. >(

Their headphones are good, but I'm soon replacing those ANYWAY with better ones.

And Sony has always been annoying and controlling with how they've done stuff. Just look at RE:3 and RE: Code Veronica. Those were title swaps because they essentially blackmailed Capcom into keeping the RE series on their console. Capcom fought back later by going to the Gamecube the next game. They ALSO forced SEGA to reprogram Sonic Heroes IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DEVELOPMENT for a console it was NEVER DESIGNED FOR, thus ruining the game.

I do not like Sony. Never have, never will, until they wake the hell up and realize they can't control everything.

You seem really mad over sonic and RE. Have you considered all the good things they have done for their developers and consumers?
