Well, FMA-B looks like it will be a long runner, except there are no fillers nor stretched out sequences. The original had fillers, yet it was still an awesome show. That's probably why it's going to be one of the best anime ever created. I can't wait till next episode. You said it's dubbed on adult swim? That's interesting. I really like how they took the story in the first 10 episodes of the first show and crammed it into 3 episodes. But the best part is that it doesn't feel rushed at all.
-
291 episodes actually.
-
You adapt. That's what we did in the old days.

I think we should all just forget the hooker due to her not-perfect acting and strange design. If not for her, I think the demo was perfect for all its acting and character design. We've barely seen any of the characters so far so we should just wait till the game comes out to judge that. That being said, does anyone remember the old days where we put aside our grievances in order to enjoy the experience better? I think the R2 mechanic isn't bad enough to go complaining about, and it shouldn’t even be considered to be something to not buy the game over.

Star Ocean 4 says hi kay?
-
I think Ethan is the origami killer. Any thoughts?
-
When did that happen? So I just played through the demo and I want this game so bad. Except I won't buy any games until I get money for school, which should be very soon. But First I need to play Darksiders.... and rent Brutal Legend.... And "insert random insult" Bayonetta.
-
lol at this one. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you.... the PS4!
-
downloaded it for ps3, couldn't get into a game, forgot about it. Never was interested anyway.
-
We're talking about the letter V? I can actually recite this speech. It's a hit with the kids.

Well, there is no Dante this time which I'm sure everyone loves. Teacher? You'll just have to see for yourself. You get to meet Armstrong's older sister, the brigadier general for the fortress of Briggs (She's probably the coolest new character.) Kimberly is much more refined. Scar is bigger and badder than ever. Marcoh survives. There is no little boy wrath nor annoying mommy sloth. They have been replaced by much better villains. Rose isn't a liability this time. That role has been replaced by Winry. She played a much bigger part this time around. The new main bad guy is much better and the conspiracy goes much deeper this time. Trust me when I say that this is now my favorite anime and every week I’m on the edge of my seat waiting for the next episode to come out.

All right guys. FMA-B is now my favorite anime hands down. I've never been this much in suspense before watching a series. This new series is undoubtedly superior to the original FMA in every way. Instead of focusing on the Elric brothers, they have this much bigger plot involving the whole country. Someone said about the original series that everything was reused. Alchemy, philosophers stone, and humuncolus (sp) were all made from humans the last time. But now only the stone is. I could go on about this but I really need to get some studying done. You should all know that it really is an entirely different work from the original. Not like Dragon Ball Kai which is the same story just without fillers. Is anyone else following this series right now?
-
So speaking about Gits, anyone going to make any predictions on what Steven Spielberg is going to do with the rights to the movie?
-
You can easily play the second one without knowing the backstory. But if you ever want to play through the first one second, you will be extrememly disappointed because U2 improved just THAT much. That's what I've heard anyway. I've only watched a playthrough of the first game and played the crap out of the demo. If you want, the U2 demo just went up on psn, and the first uncharted demo has been out for a while.

So Uncharted 2 won 100 GotY awards. That's what I thought. Season 2 blew me away.
-
And the fact that many ps2 games are massive files, up to I think 5 gigs per single-layer dvd disk. Imagine the amount that it would cost to move that kind of data.
-
I agree. I'm playing ff7 on my psp right now and I can't imagine how it was possible for me to have such a difficult time on my first playthrough. There hasn't been a boss that I haven't completely destroyed so far. Even the Prod Cloud was a breeze. Of course now it's going to be even easier now that I have unlimited megalixers (w-item materia)
-
you only need to download it to your ps3 and play it off the hard drive. But at the same time, how many 20 gig games can you fit on your HD?
-
ps3's been hacked. Ever since I modded my ps2 and it broke 8 months later, I said that it wasn't fair to the developers and never got an illegal piece of media again. (I actually got another ps2 later) But it will be interesting to see how sony will handle this. Probably the same way as the psp where you can't access the internet without the latest firmware.
-
So you are saying that it cost nearly $2 billion to do that? Budget maybe, but profits?
-
If that’s the case, all we would be looking at is the ticket sales. So with the overwhelming amount made on this movie, where does the money go? I assume it first goes to cover the cost of the movie, but then what? To Cameron? The studio for upcoming productions? To the staff distributed accordingly?
-
Well, according to wikipedia, Avatar needs only $2 million more to become the highest grossing film of all time. Go Cameron.
-
Because we all know that a highly advanced think-tank runs on a 256k modem.

I actually went and bought the Ghost in the shell ps2 game. ($7) It was a 3rd person shooter and you played as the Major and Batou. The game plays alright, and the story definitely has that GitS feel, but the level design is horrible, it's very short, the AI is retarded, and the story is broken up by these long empty levels. But I expected that. It wasn't a bad game. Major and Batou play very differently, the graphics are very well done for last gen, and there's vs multiplayer. But while we are on the subject, the creators of Ghost in the Shell also made IGPX. You can see that they did a nod to Ghost in the Shell with the GitS logo on its arm. Does anyone else think this show was incredible? It's actually in my top 3 favorites. There's no cheesy love story, the main character only goes emo for 2-3 episodes, the story is pretty darn good, the action is incredible, the voice work is mostly great(I like the announcer), and it's a show about racing. I hate racing, yet I like this show so much. What did you guys think about this one when it was on Toonami?
