  1. My "bro", Zac, is really looking foward to getting this game.

I'm eager to see what its gonna look like (Since I dont own a 360) since I have only seen screenshots... havn't seen one video of it.

But he and I were/ are HUGE Chrono Trigger fans so have, more or less, the "Dream Team" back is quite awesome.

However it doesn't appear to be getting as strong reviews as the hype made it seem (so much more grand, I mean)

  2. Could have sworn I responded to this... o_0

Ya the main soundtrack score is a great atmospheric selection across all the games... However there are quite a few pieces... intro themes, bonus tracks and so on that can work excellently as an OCReMix...

From RE4: All Mercenary themes (HUNK, Ada, Wesker, Krauser and Leon) and additional Ada theme (Assignment Ada and "Seperate Ways") would work wonderfully.

There is also the intro theme to both RE0 (short but something neat could come from it) and Outbreak that would work nice!

There are several other type songs liek that from all titles

  3. I had accidentally found this site sometime towards the end of 2006 and los or forgot the site.... then rediscovered it After i saw Video Games Live in January this year (I think) and purchased the Earthworm Jim Anthology where Over Clocked Remix was credited in the booklet... lurked for a bit and then joined the fourms

  4. Ya, MOST of the music... it's usually like that on a soundtrack score anyway.

    Thats why I mentioned RE4.

RE4 does have a bit more "action" type music thats not just ambient atmospheric background tunes.

Outbreak has that very chilling into theme as well.

  5. There are 2 OCR mixes of Resident Evil 2 and thats it!

There are a ton of great source material from all the games! I'm seriously surprised there are not more RE4 attempts!

Anyways... more remixes would be cool from the Resident Evil world

  6. Ya, I'm streaming Hi-Fi version now.

Well nothing I can say that hasn't already.

It's pretty cool... the sound volume jumps a bit and I was expecting the song to kick over into something crazy, harder, faster, wicked whatever once that volume and bass were rising.

It sounds good so far, I'd say keep developing it as long as you do still have interest in it. Its cool you want to move onto another project... but this mix has soo much potential it would be almost sad if you let it go as is

  7. Hmm... this seems to repeat quite a bit...

The repetitive Mario sound bits gets old after the first time he says "Itsa me, Mario" "Thank you so much for playing my game".

The lava sound effects are neat and the into was pretty funny... having Mario scorched right at the begenning.

After the first explosion I was waiting for some kinda heavy bass pounding beat (Kinda like what had Xenon Odyssey mentioned)

It was also quite the short mix and really did no exploration into the song itself (I have never heard the original but have a pretty good feeling you bascelly played and looped the song as it plays in the game).

My suggestion is to work on the overall arrangement of the song, work with the instruments you are using, throw in some kinda of drum beat that atleast gets you pumped (as previously stated... two of us felt there shoulda been wicked/harder drum beats) Remove the Mario sound clips (I was really annoyed by the time the song ended)

    Hmm... that maybe it...

  8. What is the origin of your name?

At any rate... people suck like that.

I can't imagine how someone will log online and comment back and take credit for, pretending to be the actual artist.

Myself being an artist... I have seen this happen and it's just amazing what people will do.

Ya I used some songs from OCR for a couple videos I made for class... but I gave credit at the end to both the original artist and OCR so...
