I think gender roles are especially dangerous because it implies there's a distinct binary: male and female. When in reality there isn't at all, but people are so caught up in the roles and by societal expectations that they can't wrap their heads around the idea that there's potentially as many genders as people in the world. Gender is what you make of it, not what society dictates it should be. And yet... people still fight, claiming that there's only male and female and anything else is horrendously wrong and unnatural.

That was a pretty good read, and really shows the effect that advertising and media coverage have on the perception of gender roles within gaming. Being trans, I feel I have a unique outlook, growing up on the side they pander to and now being on the side that is commonly seen as the side that doesn't play games. Seeing both sides from both views... it's very interesting. Growing up I didn't mind it much because I was the target audience. Now I find myself being quite the opposite, and it's a bit weird. Then again I don't give a damn about gender stereotypes and would rather have them done away with because they do no good whatsoever. (@Flexstyle: Yeah that web design was pretty awesome)

Ummm no. If you don't spend the whole hour to max it out cause you get bored and do other things and forget about it, then get into battles because you forgot about the EV training, then there's plenty of chances for unwanted EVs to show up. I know this because I have done this myself. I mean if you're all about EVs and are super into them, then yeah, you're gonna want to do it all at once. But if you're doing them casually (which Super Training allows you to do) just because you can? Then yeah, it can happen. Easily.

True, but what if you only partially do the EV training and forget about it? A Reset Bag would not only remove the unwanted ones, but the ones you worked to get too.

And when there's 500 or so EVs that you need to fill, there's plenty of room for unwanted ones.

It's not like they're going to proactively seek out any Winamp plugins hosted elsewhere and force them to be removed you know. Sure the site's going down on the 20th, but that doesn't mean Chipamp here needs to be hurried up. It'll be fine and it'll work fine for many years to come, regardless of whether or not Winamp's site is still up.

Yeah, go to the far left and go to options, there should be a Delete Friend Card option, use that and scroll to the friend you want to delete.

YES YES YES Mystic Quest is awesome. Especially that music. Though I suppose if you want a main series game, then any of the SNES ones are great (4, 5, or 6). 7 and 9 are also good, but there's a lot of references to past games in 9 that make it even more enjoyable when you understand them. And if it was in English (or if you're good with Japanese) there's always Type-0 on PSP.
